it's been a decade now since I first read it, but the poem Dark Rains Here And There by Bruce Boston still amazes me - I'm posting it here as a link (sorry about all the bullshit adverts on that site) because I'm on the tumblr app, and sharing poems sucks here because every linebreak becomes a paragraph break
anyway, a poem about rain but also what homes are I guess, interstellar style

If Gravity Were Like Weather

fickle, girdling the planet
in waves and pockets, there would
