Malphas, as much as he enjoyed the forced earth-vacation, worried about his legions. Of course there were still his trusted Commanders, who usually did most of the work in keeping the soldiers in line anyway, but Malphas did oversee everything and she guessed their presence there alone had done a lot to keep the soldiers, especially the new ones, in line.
When she suddenly spotted Lestat walking down the street, casually ( they hadn’t spotted her yet, judging by their unfocused gaze ) she suddenly wondered how many of her other commanders were in Starlight Valley as well.
❝ Lestat! ❞ She called when they came closer, waving her hand to catch their attention. In her human form, she was smaller than Lestat. In Hell, she’d towered over many of her Commanders.
❝ A welcome surprise to see you here. ❞ Malphas offered his hand to the Commander with a smirk tugging at her lips.
