More brumeth writings until i can figure out what character i want to level as. (might go with azukni if i can get someone to grab screenshots again sljslkdf)
I)
Ship creaks and groans. Even while I step lightly, floorboards give a little under my weight.
I cannot sleep, my mind is far too awake. Instead, I sit in the captain's seat, thin blanket across my lap (the bridge has terrible insulation), ears tuned to the near soundless hum of hyperspace travel.
II)
I cannot for the life of me remember the taste of Tythonian air. It was not the sweetest I have experienced, nor the most fulfilling, but it is home. And I cannot remember what home tastes like.
III)
Humans make passing comments about Zabraks having two hearts, and ask themselves, "How does that work?" do not hear my passing comments about how laughable humans can be.
IV)
Tired
Uninspired
Rest, in hopes for being refreshed.
(Writings that Brumeth comes up with when he doesn't have anything else to think about. Most of these are post getting with Kyvein.. I'll have to write some from before that.)
I)
On the days when I sit alone and make my coffee, I realize that he warms me like the hot drink in my hands.
II)
When the padawans bicker and cause a ruckus, when the ship is in a constant state of calamity and he has a migraine, I wonder if this is what marriage feels like.
III)
"There is no passion, there is peace"-- thus describes the blue swirling lights of hyperspace perfectly. It is good to meditate to, but one can only do that for so long. Afterall, how long can one meditate before the boredom urges them to move? Unfortunately, boredom makes the flights that much longer.
IV)
There are many kinds of love. Eros is perhaps the most familiar, as far as how media portrays it. Eros is lust, passion... It aptly describes the Sith, or what I know of them. Agape is unconditional love, something I am much more familiar with.
... I do not know where this is going, so I should stop here.
V)
I stopped paying attention to the holofilm a long time ago. He has too, and he fell asleep against my chest. Here, when he sits against me, our breathing synchronized, hearts beating to the same rhythm, I am at ease. The white hairs of his head tickle my nose as I write, film playing in the background, pen running out of ink.
