Why is half of Bob's Burgers fan base like this?
Brunchsquatch is one of my top 10 favourite episodes of the show, so funny, so creative and the animation styles are so cool! It's like a YouTube reanimated except before it was a thing and official. I've literally never seen another show do something like this! I've seen episodes of cartoons be done with puppets and CGI and other styles for the entire episode or a single scene, but never multiple styles that change every scene or two that were suggested by the viewers.
And besides, this episode celebrates the fans of the show. Yes, I know, the fans didn't actually animate it, but they still submitted their drawings and the animators did their best to incorporate those styles into the episode.
And yet a lot of people are like "They should remake it as a normal episode and take away everything that makes it a unique work of art and a celebration of us, the fan base." Not what they actually say, but that's what it reads like. It's so stupid! ESPECIALLY FOR A SHOW THAT CELEBRATES HUMAN CREATIVITY, INGENUITY AND COMMUNITY AS MUCH AS THIS SHOW DOES!!!
