Made these squares featuring some of my favourite things about witchcraft, and had way too much fun generating colour palettes on Coolors!

free gear and attribution

Soooo... I totally appreciate all the cool stuff sites like the Eezy network (you know, Brusheezy, and um.... Themezy etc ) has to offer, but I commonly run into this cc3 license. 

I appreciate the cool gear but attribution is kind of a heavy deal and often a deal breaker. It looks kinda like the folks at eezy are cornering the market of cc work with old school mentality. and that’s fine. I don’t mean to hate, just saying it would be nice to be able to search for no attribution content.

EVALUATION

I didn't really enjoy this project because I don't feel like I'm very good at showing creativity electronically. I much prefer taking my own shoots and setting out my work on paper. However, I have found this project very useful in the way in which I can use Photoshop in the future to improve my images with new tools and shortcuts that I've memorized and learnt naturally. I have ended this project confident on the fact that I have become familiar with the software. In our lectures I struggled keeping up with the pace of things but I soon got more used to it and became more happy with my outcomes, also, because I hadn't used Photoshop many times before I feel like I've achieved a lot more now that I know different keyboard shortcuts and the jobs that a lot of tools do. If we had another assignment that involved a constant usage of Photoshop I would be more confident. One particular part of the image that I struggled with was the downloading of brushes from www.brusheezy.com  for CS6. But after more practice I feel happy with using it at any point necessary 

I did a lot of research before deciding on my final image ideas so that I could gain inspiration from different artists. I chose to go down the simple route for my final three images which I definitely think is shown on my page. Even though my images are simple I'm very happy with the way they have turned out. I don't believe in over crowding or over working an image just because you know how to use Photoshop really well. I used the tools that I know and trust will show a good outcome. My images definitely look different to the way the looked originally. I think my images and different and unique. I also think that if the project was longer giving us more time to learn other techniques I would have a lot more complex final images, but I stuck with what I knew. The part of Photoshop I enjoy using most is Layers so that I can manipulate parts of the image whilst leaving the other parts of it to it's original look.

As much as I love complex images, I don't think it's crucial that they always must be. A simple image that still looks different from the original one is a better way forward, in my opinion. Digital Image Manipulation was enjoyable in some aspects but it wasn't my ideal project.

Yet another email that hasn't been tested thoroughly. Although I like the design and the timer was a .gif counting down for about 10 seconds, the email is simply ruined because of this issue.
