Rotarians Jim Schwing and Bry Davis delivered a donation of $1,000.00 from SL Rotary Club 24 on June 16, 2016. The Neighborhood House was holding their annual summer program kickoff with a neighborhood walk along the Jordan River and safety talk by the SL Police department.
Development Director Becca Dupaix, Executive Director Jennifer Nuttall and President Elaine Ellis were grateful to Club 24 for the donation.
The S.L. Neighborhood House located at 1050 West 500 South improves the quality of life for over 500 individuals, their families and the community by providing essential community services, especially low-income families. These services include teaching for life by provide preschoolers a head start program, affordable daycare for all ages 2 to nearly 102, meals, transportation and more. As soon as you enter the doors you know you are in a special house. Our Rotary Club should know that our donation will make a difference in the life’s of some very special people.
