Around level 6, we played a beholder best-to-three in a card game he "invented", and I volunteered since... I had no spell slots anyway....... We won, saved his life after, all became friends, and he gave us stuff 17 years later. Love that guy.

Finished an old drawing after our bard died... thinking about all the stuff he's really pulled off over the 3 years playing. "Chamberlain Bryn" was such a boon.

Context:

Realizing what’s happening, Ollie stops Tiandra before she can give him her gift.

He introduces himself to the larger group properly, says “None of you know much about me, other than rumors, so let’s clear the air. My name is Ollimer Wovin. I’ve lived my entire life... in a safe haven, created by Sylvanus called the Grove. ...I have never known this place, that he created as well. The Grove and the Feywild are kin, but distant ones. Titania has been a great friend to me, in bringing you all together.” he emphasizes friend. Done with, he nods to Tiandra to continue.

What follows is a procession of introductions to the lords and ladies of the Feywild courts, followed by gifts. Bryn steps forward, leaning in to encourage Ollie, taking gifts out of his hands as he gets them to prevent him looking awkward with his hands full. As Ollie hands him the white and gold sword, the Vernal Blade presented by the Queen of the Summer Court, he whispers back, "Uhmmm, that's yours of course," giving the item as a gift immediately. The bard served as a fantastic chamberlain.

At the end of it all, Titania causes the fire to flare with bright golden light. Ollie thanks her again, and says to the others “Uhh... enjoy the festivities, I look forward to getting to know you all.”

Titania moves to speak to him, and Ollie looks panicked a second at Bryn, who gets cut off by Coyata, Queen of the Winter Court. He politely says he’ll talk to her soon and joins Ollie. Ollie takes a second, but does manage to get up the guts to dismiss Bryn. He says to help the others, introduce them as... ambassadors, he supposes. He’ll be with them shortly. He asks Titania for a private talk, she smirks at him and they go to behind a nearby rock. Private enough, for what she's thinking.

I drew the party in costumes last Halloween, a couple outfit switches and two dressed as some gods. Just posting bc I got a scanner recently and have been able to upload them.

The keys and doors symbolism I managed for this banner is *chefs kiss*.

I did some art of the 2nd major god we got to deal with in the setting... the Raven Queen. DM had a very cool TPK backup arc where we quested for her in the afterlife in exchange for our lives :’) I’m just happy to keep playing.
