Hmmm okay since I do want to start a new scene tomorrow you get the rest of nightmare hell, and also a bit of the next scene for anyone who doesn't already know the context. But under the cut because nightmare hell.

Maybe.  Maybe.  Izuna will find those, then.  Everything else falls away in the face of that new goal.  Wherever Izuna’s sacrifice is, Izuna will find him. Izuna has already searched this building, so he looks around, and when no one is looking, he darts to the next. Three buildings have nothing in them that matters before Izuna finally succeeds.  There’s no smell of medicine, but Izuna has taken to peeking into every open door, and Tobirama is easy to spot. The room he’s in is probably his bedroom, and he’s sitting at a table, his right leg bandaged, splinted and stretched awkwardly out as he frowns at a scroll.  There are bandages on the palm of his right hand and wrist too, but thankfully not his fingers, and he seems to be using his hand just fine.  He looks even paler than usual.

As soon as Itama’s vision is gone, he’s paralyzed.  Every muscle goes limp; he can feel the pain in his eyes and arm, and the way his lungs begin to burn as if he’s holding his breath, and he can hear the giants cackling.  But he can’t move, and he can’t use chakra even to slow his bleeding. The giants’ laughter fades quickly.  In the silence, something stabs into Itama’s chest—poorly aimed, it catches on a rib and doesn’t hit anything immediately lethal, but hurts.  The next stab is stronger and better aimed, into Itama’s lung. “I’ll kill all of you, you’ll all die,” snarls the toddler’s voice, Izuna’s voice but angrier, less polished.  “And the Uchiha will rule forever!” Despite the words, he stays there stabbing Itama.  And no matter how many injuries accumulate, Itama never loses consciousness. ~~ Itama wakes up in his own bed, with Tobirama hovering over him.  The aches of the wounds the monsters inflicted on him linger in his mind, but aren’t affected by small movements, or tensing and relaxing his muscles.  The only real pain seems to be a few bruises on his arm. “You’re awake,” Tobirama says, a hurried and obligatory acknowledgement before he launches into diagnostic questions.  The most extensive set for genjutsu first, and then general health, which lets Itama point out his arm. “It was broken,” Tobirama says.  “Anija believes you fell on it.  You should only have bruises now.” “That’s all I noticed,” Itama says.  “Thank you.” He’s not sure he really wants to know, but he still has to ask.  “My team?” “All in similar condition to you,” Tobirama says.  “Unconscious, some with minor breaks from falling.  If they were under the same genjutsu as you, presumably they will wake up soon, and not be permanently affected by it.”
