I’m posting this confession because I found it quite interesting. Although I don’t agree with hating Dazai and the people who put him on a pedestal, I do see what they mean by Dazai being a hypocrite. What do you guys think?

Also, I’m going to keep the submitter’s url anonymous (sorry if you wanted me to put it in!), mainly because I’m up for discussion and curious about your thoughts rather than to start hate within the fandom. 

I really hate Dazai and people who put him on a pedestal. Can’t people remember that he was a murderer worse than Akutagawa and treated his subordinates like shit? Being a huge Akutagawa stan, I hate how Dazai thinks he’s better than Akutagawa since Akutagawa resorts to inhumane methods. Smh Dazai used to be exactly like Akutagawa and he’s the one who led  him down this path. Dazai is a hypocrite who thinks he can erase his past by living by Odasaku’s wishes.

Confession #10 text: "I really love beast dazatsu. I think their dynamic is super interesting and I feel people don't talk about it as much as they should. There's so much raw emotion there and it's got me hooked."]

Confession #3 text: "It thoroughly upsets me how much this fanbase glosses over Hirotsu. In my opinion, he is one of the most interesting characters solely for the fact that he is 50 years old and has seen some stuff. I feel as if he has the potential to be truly great in the series, except I don't think Asagiri will care enough to include it."]

Confession #6 text: "On the topic of underrated characters, Higuchi is also one. Asagiri has said that she has an ability, but that he hasn't quite figured out what it will be. For that reason, Higuchi has the potential to be a game-changer for the current plot and the overall direction of the series."]
