Dazatsu with Kitsunezai makes me crazy. Outside of the Foxglove AU I’ve been thinking about, there’s actually a second idea I had for them.

A blind Atsushi lives on the outskirts of the woods, where yokai are rumored to dwell. Dazai is one of those yokai.

Atsushi may not have known it. He may not have been able to see, not in the usual sense. But what he could “see” were yokai.

Dazai, intrigued by the human living at the edge of the forest, begins to visit him. He talks to him, spends time with him, and without realizing it, grows attached. Before he knows it, he falls in love.

But Atsushi doesn’t know he can see yokai. And how could Dazai even begin to come clean, when the human before him believed he was just another person?

OKAY but with the sskk timeloop idea it would be interesting if they don't both remember all the loops. like. in 121.5 atsushi got slashed by the divine being, so he gets the memories of the previous loop when time rewinds... and akutagawa doesn't remember any of that (which also means he gets amnesia blasted again. no weretiger for him). but then another time the divine being could kill akutagawa first and then akutagawa has memories of the previous loop and atsushi doesn't. would be fun. because then atsushi is figuring out "how do I defeat this guy" during his loops and akutagawa is figuring out "who is this commoner with the weird haircut and why do I feel emotions about him" during his loops. it ends with the thing from the end of anime season 5 >:D (akutagawa has gotten his memories back of atsushi across the loops, this happens at the same time that the "who the hell are you" did previously) I dont even know what I'm saying. Is This A Good Idea. also they kill the divine being and kiss at the end

okay I'm back! So I researched the summary of 'The Dancing Girl' cause I personally haven't read it yet.

So the bsd Mori OCs that you gave are:

Kibou Mori: What if Ougai Mori had a son/daughter with the dancing girl?

305 (or Hikaru): What the hell happened to the underground after Ougai Mori stopped being the neutral doctor? Did someone replaced him there?

Kaori Mori: Does Mori have a family? Nephew? Niece? Brother? Sister?

Ryu Chía: Does he speak the same languages the real life author speaks?

Here are my reasons:

Let's start with Kibou Mori

In the summary of "The Dancing Girl" it said that Toyotaro actually had a kid with Elise but abandoned her and the baby. (It said that he gave money to support Elise and the baby but I don't know if he eventually stopped sending money).

Anyways, one thing I find interesting about the 'Dancing Girl' is it shows the struggle of Toyotaro to choose 'success' over his loved ones (which is something bsd Mori also does).

So the question, "What if Mori had a kid?" is very interesting to me.

I want to know what he will be like as a parent.

Will he be a good parent? Will he love his child?

If he has to choose between the Port Mafia and his kid,

will he sacrifice his kid? or will he give in to his emotions and sacrifice the Port Mafia instead?

I feel like this is a very interesting idea 🤭🤭

(I also really like angst sometimes lol. I like seeing 'cold' characters become emotional and have a hard time making decisions).

what will his relationship be like with his kid? Since Mori is always busy with work, will his kid hate him? Will Mori act 'cold' on the outside but secretly love and help his kid? What will his kid act like?

Will Mori's kid make friends with Q?

so many interesting questions lol. Also what will Mori and the kid's relationship with the mom be? That's also very interesting to think about.

Next, is 305 or Hikaru

What happened to the underground after Mori stopped being a neutral doctor? Did someone replace him there?

That is very interesting!! I'm actually also very curious about how and why Mori became an underground doctor when he was literally a military doctor before!! Why did he go underground? Why did he stop being a military doctor? etc.

Going back to the topic though, after Mori stopped becoming a neutral doctor, I'm also wondering if someone replaced him or if other 'neutral' doctors were allowed.

After Mori became the Port Mafia Boss, the Port Mafia DOMINATES the underworld and in Stormbringer, it said that 'doctors' in the Port Mafia are treated like VIPs because they are very important. They are the ones who treat the injured.

So I am curious if Mori will allow 'neutral' doctors who are NOT with the Port Mafia OR if he forces the 'neutral doctors' to make a deal with him (logically speaking, I think Mori would force the neutral doctors to make a deal with the Port Mafia -- so that the Port Mafia can earn profit AND weaken their enemies).

The Port Mafia fights other organized gangs and controls the crime rate in Yokohama. If the gang criminals have no 'neutral' doctor to go to when they get injured, they will grow weak and the Port Mafia can easily destroy them.

So I think as a mafia boss, Mori would force the 'neutral doctors' to make a deal with him. That or ----- there will be no neutral doctor. Only doctors available will be Port Mafia doctors.

But I'm also curious because anything can happen. That is a very interesting concept.

Will Mori allow neutral doctors? Will Mori not allow neutral doctors?

What if there are neutral doctors hiding from the Port Mafia?

So many questions. So much potential. ✨

The other ideas are interesting too. But those two are my favourite because they are the most unique in my opinion.

I hope we see some questions answered in the bsd manga though. <3

I genuinely would love a ff where Atsushi is the one who transfers to Port Mafia.

Mori wanted Dazai, but he knew it wouldn’t be that easy to take him. Dazai’s too slippery, too smart. So instead, Mori picks Atsushi. He’s a quiet good piece Mori can use.

First, it’ll hurt Dazai to lose another person who’s important to him. Atsushi isn’t just anyone. He means something to Dazai.

Second, Atsushi’s ability is really useful, especially for slaughter. His white tiger form is powerful and perfect for what the Mafia needs.

Third, Atsushi wouldn’t be that hard to manipulate. Not for a man like Mori. Atsushi’s got doubts, insecurities, and a big desire to protect others. Mori knows exactly how to twist that.

Mori doesn’t just want Atsushi’s power. He wants to hit Dazai, where it hurts the most. Take Atsushi, and he hits two birds with one stone.

Pre-relationship Dazatsu where it's just Akutagawa seeing those two acting a little too in love for them to not be together. So, he concludes that Dazai and the weretiger are actually dating. That leads him to believe that he, in fact, does not need to compete with or beat Atsushi because Dazai is clearly biased

CHUUATSU Post-Canon Idea (or I think it could be counted as post-canon):

With Fyodor defeated and the city finally once again settled in peace, the Port Mafia finally calls in their favor: one member of the Agency must join them. Everyone assumes it will be Dazai who will be demanded, after all, he was once their executive, and his mind is a weapon on its own. But to everyone's surprise, Atsushi is chosen.

Atsushi, the last person anyone would have expected to be forced into the darkness of the Mafia. Everyone is devastated, but they can't go back on the deal. They cannot afford to go to war with the Mafia so soon, not when the city is still recovering. And Atsushi, the ever sacrificing one, agrees.

Mori is no fool. He knows Atsushi won't be trusted within the organization, so he assigns him to Chuuya. More specifically, he orders the executive to keep him under constant watch, so much so that Atsushi has to live in Chuuya’s apartment, a decision neither of them is happy about.

At first, they avoid each other completely. They eat at different times, spend their time in separate spaces, and barely speak beyond what's absolutely necessary. Atsushi hates everything the Mafia stands for, and Chuuya doesn't have the patience to babysit someone who refuses to get his hands dirty. The tension is almost suffocating for both of them.

But then something changes. Avoidance slowly turns into small conversations, nothing deep, just a few comments here and there, maybe a little complaint. And then, small chats turn into sitting in the same room without any tension. Into sharing meals together. Into the comfort of simply asking what they should make for dinner. A comfort of having someone to come home to.

It takes a while for either of them to realize it, that the home life both of them dreaded has turned into something domestic. They start waiting for each other before eating. Sometimes, Chuuya brings home extra food because he knows Atsushi will be hungry. Atsushi starts cleaning up because Chuuya rarely does. The apartment, once a place of cold isolation, becomes... warm.

And that's exactly what makes them fall in love. Not the chaos and disagreements of their job, not the danger of the underworld, but the quiet moments at home, where they feel safe. Chuuya realizes he doesn't want Atsushi to lose the kindness that makes him who he is. He doesn’t want his blood Mafia black.

Their home life may be peaceful, but the Mafia isn’t. Atsushi’s refusal to bend to their ways is a problem. He’s still seen as an outsider, a liability, a weak link. There are whispers that he should be eliminated before he betrays them.

Chuuya is stuck in the middle. He still has to drag Atsushi along on missions, still has to cover for him when he refuses to kill, still has to argue. He tries his best to keep Atsushi afloat.

Despite their growing domestic peace at home, Atsushi's place in the Mafia remains uncertain. He refuses to kill, yet his strength makes him an undeniable asset. While most still don’t trust him, Mori keeps him around, watching, waiting, testing.

Everything shifts when a mission goes south. Civilians get caught in the crossfire, and while Chuuya moves to handle it the Mafia’s way, Atsushi steps in and stops him. He saves them without killing anyone, proving that he doesn’t need to play by the Mafia’s rules to win.

Mori takes notice. So does Chuuya.

It becomes clear: Atsushi won’t break. He won’t bend to the Mafia’s ways, no matter how much pressure is put on him. And instead of being frustrated, Chuuya finds himself relieved. He doesn’t want Atsushi to lose his kindness, to become numb to death.

So when the rest of the Mafia starts questioning where Atsushi truly stands, Chuuya makes his choice.

He stands beside Atsushi.
