Rereading all the Bram scenes because I miss my Wife Part 7
Tw: suicide implications (although she ended up surviving)
This scene still BREAKS me ~1 year later.
People don't talk enough about how Aya was absolutely ready to throw herself off a building to save the world. She 100% thought she would die as she had no way to know about Bram/Aku saving her.
Man.

+ Information about Ueda Akinari
Since we're getting another character that seems to be vaguely inspired by the supernatural and i immideatly had to research them, here's some info on them!
The irl inspiration of this character is male, but since bsd likes to switch genders around sometimes, I'll be referring to them with they/them pronouns until we get confirmation
Talking about them:
Ueda Akinari:
born to prostitute and unknown father
adopted when 4yo
had small pox as child ==> deformed fingers on both hands
parents prayed to goddess Inari ==> Ueada was spiritual his whole life
inherited oil and paper business, but lost it to fire
started studying medicine instead
later on researched philosophy and classical literature (kokugaku?)
wife died in 1798
temporary blindness, later on regained sight in left eye
died in 1809, age 76
Also wikipedia says this about their pen name(s):
Post about the literature giving their ability it's name here.
