I think about this part a lot in Stormbringer and it haunts me because Murase had such a huge impact on Chuuya and just wanted Chuuya to live a normal life and ough I'm sick

Albatross gets reincarnated... as a cat

An AU where Albatross gets reincarnated as a cat, and proceeds to get picked up by Chuuya sometime after Dazai leaves the port.

Its starts off as Chuuya trying to deal with stuff, and hey, maybe a pet would help. It does, but also doesn't.

Cattross is a menace. I'm thinking that he would look like some really cute and innocent tabby cat, with black spot around his eyes to mimic sunglasses, and act similar to how he acted as human. The little devil is loud asf and if Chuuya doesn't pay attention to him, when he's home, it's a miracle that things aren't broken and Chuuyas ear drums aren't busted. Chuuya brought his paperwork home? You bet that cattross is not letting his friend?/owner?/human? do it for longer than an hour, and that's being generous. His boy just got back home. He was gone the whole night and got back at like ten in the morning. He's not going to be working, when he should be eating and sleeping!! No Chuuya, he does not care that you're an executive in the mafia, whose partner just dipped (Chuuya thinks he's dead, Catross is convinced he left).

IDK if there should be more reincarnated Flags, but I think that having Murase be reincarnated as a police dog that always books it to Chuuya, when he's near, to check up on him, but also to keep the assigned policeman to him on his toes, would be fun.

Sometimes dog!Murase and cattross meet. They don't like each other. The only reason they stay put is Chuuya.

Also, cattross is the kind of cat that likes rides in a car, but WILL throw a fit when he's forced to be in a box. He needs to be sitting and enjoying the seat under his paws, feel the engine under them instead of feeling it bounce around in his box.

Surprisingly, he hates the box. Colar, leash, harnes? Go for it, he likes those. Put him in the carrier? How dare you.

He also doesn't approve much of Chuuyas choice in partners, but if he couldn't do anything much against Dazai back then, he doubts he can do anything againts Dazai and Kunikida.

Well...

Maybe he does like Kunikida. Just a little bit. Maybe Kunikida redeemed himself, when he threw an overworked Chuuya over his shoulder and proceeded to manhandle him, throw him into a bath and then into a bed and forced his human to sleep.

Dazai may have become a little bit better, than when he was in the mafia. Doesn't mean he's forgiven for leaving Chuuya in there and letting him think he's dead.

(Cattross gets lost one time and proceeds to find another two Flags. Bunny!Iceman (bc it would be hilarious) gets gifted to Kyoka)

Also I think that sometimes Chuuya takes cattross to work with him. He menacingly stares down anyone who dares to even look their way. The mafia adresses them as "The one Executive, who will gaf atleast a little bit about you, and his evil cat, that wishes to run you over". It almost happened on many ocassions. Nobody knows how the cat knows how to operate a vehicle and how that devil made it seem, like it didn't do anything. It's the most scariest horror story in the mafia. Not the demon prodigy, not the king of assassins, not the fallen angel/strongest ability user, not the boss, just the cat. There are rumors that sometimes, when torture doesn't seem to be working, the torture specialists send in the cat. (Not true, Chuuya wouldn't allow that, and cattross likes his fur clean, otherwise Chuuya is annoying)

sometimes I think about how Chuuya’s life would’ve been like if he went with Murase and was adopted by him. I definitely think he'd end up going to school and I’m just picturing his old enemies seeing him as a regular student and being like “is that gravity manipulator NAKAHARA CHUUYA?!”

Chuuya getting labelled as a delinquent partially bc he acts like one but mostly bc almost every day there’s strange ppl lurking outside the school gates scoping him out...but then quaking when Chuuya strolls out and hits them with the side eye (he’s still got it)

occasionally old bitter nemeses that Chuuya had previously defeated will come disturb his peace and try to pick a fight bc they think he’s gone soft from living a “normal” life but they find out very very quickly that’s not the case at all. Chuuya never slacks (he's an all-around student athlete now).

Chuuya, throwing his duffel bag down and cracking his neck: this is great I haven’t had a good warmup in ages enemies: enemies: oh…oh no…?? [afterwards] enemies, knocked out in a pile: Chuuya, dusting himself off: thanks guys I really needed that! been feeling a bit stiff recently but I feel much better now

Murase always gets worried whenever something like this happens even tho he knows Chuuya’s more than capable of handling himself...once Chuuya asked why Murase was making such a big deal over it and Murase was like “bc you're my son? ofc I’ll worry” and Chuuya shut up immediately

Programmed himself to put chuuya before anything and risked his life for chuuya (he came back though, I’m happy)

I honestly hate when people say she would choose Kyouka as if she can’t love two people equally. Like are we reading the same thing? She cares about chuuya a lot.

6.Dazai

the relationship that dazai has with oda and chuuya are two completely different things. Dazai just fulfilled a promise from a dead friend. Dazai trust chuuya with his life.
