I am not “just a woman”; I am a woman.
- I created this blog as my contribution in celebrating women's month, and as my way to show my respect for all women today; because being a woman in the modern world is something to be proud of.
When you asks about a man's perception of a lady, a man will always respond, "The shadow of every man's achievement,” or "The mother who fills a house with Love and devotion," or "The female sibling whom should always stay in the house and learn the domestic duties," Women frequently have a reputation for being inferior in all aspects.
In this patriarchal culture, women have been sidelined and oppressed throughout history. They commonly have to undertake minimal tasks and roles, or worse, they are not required to work at all. Women have historically been seen as an addition to or companion to males in society. As a result, they have acquired the capacity to gradually blend in or operate behind the curtains, and preserve silence in a world where males predominate. Over time, women's roles have seen significant transformation. thanks to people who fought for women’s rights. Nonetheless, the gap between men and women has not entirely disappeared. Several cultures hold the view that women were intended primarily to serve as men's intimate partners or simply a someone who's obligated to serve man and his offspring. I'm still perplexed as to why there are still women who hold this belief. My women, we are more than this notion.
let’s stop this perception, but how? when our elder taught young women that women are built smaller than men. Men are always chosen to lead things because people think “they can lead well”, bold of these individuals think “males can lead well”, when men constantly seek the emotional validation of women. Notwithstanding the difficulties they have faced and still face, women are still able to succeed to the fullest extent possible. In today's existence, women perform tasks that our society believes are solely fit for men. such as, a woman can support her family financially; a mother can work 8 hours a day to fulfill the needs of her family. We already know that individuals think that men are the best archaeologists. However a female archaeologist disproved their claims. an archaeologist at the University of Santo Domingo named Kathleen Martinez made the discovery that a tunnel under an Egyptian temple could lead to Cleopatra's tomb. Many male archaeologists have been searching for the late Cleopatra's missing tomb for how many years, but they have yet to unearth anything remotely linked to it. Knowing that the road to success for women is paved with more detours and obstacles, these ladies have the guts to go through just to prove them wrong.
It takes strength and assertiveness to be a woman while while preserving kindness. It involves being sensitive and sympathetic toward the people we care about in our life without feeling weak for doing so. It includes pursuing our objectives despite whatever obstacles we may experience along the road.
The women we see now are bold, independent women. they keep making contributions in many areas and are excellent at what they do. They are change pioneers who exude quality and inspiration. woman nowadays, no longer ask for approval before speaking. they are no longer looking for “ knight and shining armor”. Why seek for a knight with shining armor when I am one myself.
I am not “just a woman”; I am a woman, I can speak, I can lead, and I can decide what path I want to pursue. I am more than what you could expect.
