B'omarr Order "Brain Walker" (Arakyd Industries BT-16 Perimeter Droid with B'omarr Brain Jar)
Source: The Official Star Wars Fact File #7 (De Agostini, 2002)
Due to my spider-induced panic, Deej let me sleep in her barracks last night. Her bunk mates weren’t too pleased at first, but I managed to tell them (between sobs) how to get free snacks out of Brenda and they agreed I could stay.
Deej was all, “I don’t get your thing with spiders. What is it that bothers you so much, babe? Look: You’ve been to Tatooine and seen the B’omarr monks. They didn’t bother you, and they’re like giant spiders! But droids! You love droids. That makes them...kind of the same...right?”
Oh, Deej. Dearest Deej. My love, my rock. Words cannot express how much I appreciate your attempts to comfort me in my time of need. But your argument has two faults: a) Like you said, B’omarr monks are (mostly) droids and b) They’re big. Really big. Like, the chances of a BT-16 crawling unnoticed into my helmet and laying its eggs in my ear canal while I sleep are almost zero.
Now, if you would please brush my hair and sing me some pretty lullabies until M4-RT1N calls and confirms all those demon bugs have been sent to Hell where they belong, that would be lovely.
