Famous musician? You guys are too much! I’m super duper stoked to be able to talk to you. Thanks so much for having me!
LET'S START WITH THE OBVIOUS, SHALL WE? WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO IN THE PAST TEN YEARS?
Well, I’ve been up to a lot of stuff music wise. I’ve got my band Crimson Light Dreams kickin’ into full gear still. We’ve released an album, toured around to promote said album which was probably like… one of the best experiences of my life. It literally sealed the deal that this was exactly what I wanted to do the rest of my life. Literally nothing beats seeing your fans and the joy your music brings to their faces.
THAT MUST HAVE BEEN A LOT OF FUN! WHAT WAS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE LOCATIONS YOU TOURED?
It was a super blast honestly. Who doesn’t want to see most of the world? Uhh, Seattle, Washington was on the top of my list. Have you ever been to the Space Needle? Incredible. Also, Chicago. I don’t know why but Chicago is just really, really nice.
I HAVEN'T, BUT IT SOUNDS INCREDIBLE. HAS TOURING CAUSED A PROBLEM FOR YOU REGARDING RELATIONSHIPS?
Well, I mean, wouldn’t it for everyone? It’s definitely not as easy as I’d like it to be to get a partner in my life, but I figure when the time is ready things are just going to fall in place. I’m a big believer in stuff like that.
DO YOU HAVE YOUR EYE ON ANYONE CURRENTLY TO HOPEFULLY FILL THAT PARTNER POSITION IN YOUR LIFE?
There’s one person, but nothing is really ever set in stone, ya know? As much as I’d like it to be I know that life is changing all the time and you can never grasp onto it fast enough to hold.
WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO SHARE WITH US WHO THAT ONE PERSON MAY BE?
[laughs a bit] No offense, but that’s something I plan to keep for myself for my own piece of mind and theirs. I am also not for getting my manager to lay down the law on me like he does like… all the time.
WORTH A SHOT. I'M CURIOUS, IS SETTLING DOWN IN THE PLANS ONE DAY OR WILL YOU ALWAYS BE THIS AMAZING ROCKSTAR?
Oh man, that’s crazy to think that I could be doing this for a long, long time. Eventually I’d like to settle down to make a family but I’m also 26 so I feel like my life isn’t remotely over it. It’s a tough thing to think about so I’m not trying to plan out anything and let things just fall where they do.
ANY PLANS FOR THE UPCOMING FUTURE OR ARE YOU JUST GOING TO GO WITH THE FLOW?
I want to at least try to get one more tour in, ya know? I feel like I have a lot more years in me left to rock but I also don’t mind experimenting with other things like maybe Broadway or something! But for now I just want to get another tour around – maybe out of the country.
