“Welcome to BTS’s first winter concert!” ~RM

I went to the 5/11 concert, and it was just, so weird and amazing to see them. Soldier Field was also freaking cold. Chicago doesn’t do spring, it’s just winter and then summer.

Chicago was my second BTS concert - my first was day one in Newark for Wings, which I basically remember nothing of except for Spring Day and their hyyh medley, but it was a helluva of an experience.

I mean, seeing the people that I’ve been squinting at laptop screens since 2013? From watching grainy Rookie King to this? (Do I regret not seeing Red Bullet in 2015? Yes, but I was sadly BTS blocked by life.) Incomparable - even from 2017 to 2019, they upped the level of their production by 500%. And I think a lot of Army would say this, but going to a BTS concert is like going to see your friends (except these friends 99.9999% chance don’t know you hahaha—)

Favorite performance: Outro: Tear

Rapline has it all - they tear it up on stage (definitely not the first to say that pun) *and my heart breaks cos I wish I could experience it again*

Most emotional performance: Epiphany

Jin’s not my most hearted vocal, but man that stage was just... *claps my hands until they’re raw* give it up for Kim Seokjin who ended a freezing concert and then played MapleStory at 1am.

Most memorable moment: Namjoon’s ment

All the boys were complaining and worried about the rain and cold, but his premonition came true - “Army’s going to stop the rain!”

And a word of advice - if you’re friggin short like me, stand on the bottom rungs of the chairs xD
