It's time to talk about the Xander in the room. So, I have essentially centered my DR talk on "Being Spike's Girlfriend" because it's a given I was a badass Slayer in my past life and a badass vampire hunter in my current one. Talking about Spike is cutesy and fun. Hence why I choose that topic over the unbridled depression or constant fighting that is the rest of the Buffyverse majority of the rest of the time. Anyway, I've never read the Buffy continuation comics because I hate Joss Whedon HOWEVER I hope to read the Boom Comics Reboot/new universe. There is one specific thing in the reboot comics I want to discuss
Xander and Spike 💀just trying to type it makes me start to laugh. Like I'm sure their dynamic is completely different from the show but I just imagine my Spike and Xander reacting to that and laugh my ass off. They hate each other or at least barely tolerate each other. At best they are casual friends at worst the despise each other. Like the probability of them is as probable of me and Drusilla being a thing 😭🤯 NOT in this life time sweetie! I mean, if Spike wasn't in the picture and she was a little less crazy and a lot less evil.. Maybe. Like the world would have to be rewritten A LOT for Drusilla and I to ever happen. Which is why I laugh in the face of Xander x Spike. I mean is it IMPOSSIBLE? I guess not in the sense of fiction but it's not something I have to worry about in my real life. Like I'm not jealous of anyone except Drusilla. Not even Harmony makes me jealous because I know he's just using her. But Drusilla had Spike for 100 years. I have a right to be jealous of that. But I win in the end but still ┐(￣ー￣)┌
I pity Drusilla and what she went through but my hatred and jealousy run deep 🩵 Even if she does have a great sense of style 😡
