I haven’t been Bible journaling much lately. There’s been so much going on that my heart hasn’t been in it. I’ve been trying devotionals from By The Well 4 God and Illustrated Faith, but my heart just hasn’t been in it. So I tried just picking up from where I was reading in the Bible before I had been going through all of these devotionals and found that I was able to journal. Sometimes we don’t need anything fancy to help us through, we just need the Bible and the Holy Spirit to guide us. I’m thankful that I had the flower cutouts and enamel dots to use, and the fabric for the bow paperclip I made, but to journal, one really only needs a pen and a Bible, and a notebook of your Bible doesn’t have journaling space. If you’re thinking about Bible journaling l, but you don’t know where to start, just start with your Bible, some colorful pens and a notebook. Pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit, so that you might fully understand what you’re ready and how to apply it to your life. I recommend starting in the New Testament and then going back to read the Old Testament. And, when you’re done, do it again. The more we read the Bible, the more we understand it. But when you’re able, there are some fun supplies you can purchase for Bible journaling, and I’m happy to review them with you. Send me an email and I’ll let you know what I use and where I get my supplies.
