Ok, so I have a question. Can you help me?

As you know, I'll apply for a Erasmus + Master's Programme. Since the programme is composed of universities from 5 different European countries (including PORTUGAL) they require that applicants provide sworn translations for their documents. It could be into English OR *any official european language*.

Ok. So as I was doing some searching for how much it is to get a sworn translation for more than 10 pages (and it's really expensive), a question came into my mind: do I really need to get my docs translated?

Look, I'm Brazilian, my native language is PORTUGUESE that is an official european language, AND a uni from Portugal is part of the master's prog.

I was looking for other future/past applicants from Brazil and they didn't even question themselves, they paid for a sworn translation into english... But this things it's getting so much expensive, you know, with TOEFL and other bureaucracies.. What if I'm not selected? So I send an email to them asking some stuff.

They answered me. They said they recognized portuguese therefore I don't need to translate my docs. BUT they would be very glad if I did. They prefer english docs.

Now, I REALLY WANT to be accept for this programme. Do you think it'll be a bad start if I don't do the "effort" to translate my docs?
