As a wildlife biologist who has worked with several endangered species who were decimated by ye olde Fancy Hat Murderfest, I wanted to say thanks for the education you do about the MBTA.
you’re welcome! i am always happy to holler about the MBTA or anything else that actually protects birbs.
Congrats on house! I don’t know if it’ll help, but one thing I do to help with moving anxiety is take a sharpie and add little doodles and cute phrases on the inside of the boxes so later!me has a pleasant surprise while unpacking.
That’s such a cute idea! I will have to try & remember to do this, thank you for the suggestion. ♥ And thank you! I am very excited, despite all the anxiety & stress. It’ll be SO nice to live with my partners, and have all of the animals together in one house (though the cats will appreciate this less), and I get to live with my snakey girl again after 3 years!!! I can’t wait to properly spoil her with a better set up and more enrichment and being able to handle her more. ♥
buam replied to your post: Hey guess what MORE FUCKING BENGALS THAT'S WHAT. ...
Why are there so many hybrids? Is it a popular fad or something?
Most of the current hybrids were confiscated from one breeder, tbh. The two new ones were transfers from a shelter. A lot of shelters transfer their hybrids into rescues because they do REALLY BADLY in confined spaces.
