its not that bubba himself is loud or makes sudden noises- its just that... the things he uses and his family and his home are prone to noise at any given notice
his chainsaw is.... loud... and so are his brothers- and if you guys are still living in the family home, the house settling can make one feel uncomfortable... not even taking into consideration the drafts or the floorboards or-
bubba does his very best to be as quiet around you as possible- he moves so so carefully to make sure you can prepare yourself... if youre fine with basic level sounds that arent loud or sudden let him know! the poor man is going to worry and believe that ALL sound is a no-no!
makes sure you have the stuff you need in your room for when theres... live meat.... running around the house so you can stay away from all the screaming and gore and-
holds your head in his hands to try to soothe you... rocks you back and forth as he tries to mumble something- nothing really comes out but its the thought that counts... head in his chest and everything
so so protective of you, tries to show you that theres nothing to be scared of and does everything he can to try to find the source of the noise to either show you theres nothing bad going on and/or to silence it if possible
genuinely so such a sweetheart when it comes to you, and will do everything he can to make you as comfortable as possible- just say the word and hes going to be right on it!
Imagine reader being captured in the Sawyer house hold, and they are just watching through the door way as they prepare the “food.” Then they just get out of their bonds and just walks into the kitchen and just take the rice from them and start preparing it correctly (Washing the rice, steaming it, etc.)

Bubba x Reader Who Cooks For The Family
You sat, tied to a chair in the middle of a cannibal families house. How had you managed to get into such a situation? You had just been on a simple road trip with your friends. Now, you were being hunted and dissected by cannibals. You weren't sure where your friends were (or if they were even still alive). Adrenaline surged through your body at the situation.
You were snapped out of your thoughts by the feeling of your chair being drug through the house and into the kitchen. You were placed at the head of the table. You scanned around the room, trying to figure out what was happening. A man, one you had met previously, was cooking something in a pot.
You noticed him throw some potatoes into the pot without washing or peeling them first. 'That's not how you're meant to prepare those.' You thought. You wiggled your wrists around and managed to get out of your binds. Then you leaned down and undid the restraints on your legs.
Everyone was too preoccupied to notice that you had managed to get out of your restraints. You stood up, staying still for a moment to stabilize yourself before walking to the man who was cooking. Just as he was about to put another potato into the pot, you grabbed it from him. He was taken aback when he noticed it was you. He was about to say something when you brought the potato to the sink.
You washed the potato, scrubbing it to the best of your ability to get rid of any dirt. Drayton (as you had heard him be called) stood silently as you walked back to the counter. You grabbed a knife and cut the potatoes into smaller pieces before tossing them into the pot.
Drayton was clearly surprised but let you continue with what you were doing. After a few more potatoes, you were finished and had all of the potatoes washed and put in the pot. He hummed before glancing at the chair where you had been previously. He seemed to be contemplating something.
"Well, since you went and did that, I'll let you sit without any restraints. If you try anything, though, I won't hesitate to tie you back up." You nodded before you went back to your chair and took a seat.
