Gotta rant about Nyx in Lore Olympus because I saw her design-

If I'm honest? I think Dislyte would've been more successful as an animated series.

Idk if the devs have just never made a game before but it's abundantly clear none of them know what to do with all this feedback and it's rly hurting the game. I still enjoy playing, but I've been playing another game, Tower of Fantasy, recently and it's infinitely more rewarding with the gacha system. Using that as a comparison with Dislyte almost seems unfair lmao. ToF has been out barely a week and already it's a more fun experience.

Not to mention, there's multiple channels on the Dislyte official discord of ppl giving feedback and all the devs do is?? Explain more? Like there's ppl literally saying 'the new gacha system isn't better, it's in fact worse and hurts players who've been saving and f2p/low spending players' and their response is just 'actually ur wrong, shut up.'

There's so much they're doing correct, a diverse cast, backstories for characters, an interesting world, REALLY talented artists, and they're fucking it all up with how they're catering to the top 1% of gamers.

But that animated short of Gaius? THAT SHIT WAS AWESOME! I CRIED. The emotion and the visuals and the voice acting, IT WAS ALL THERE. THAT'S why I think Dislyte should be a series instead. It'd be more interesting if every few weeks or however long it takes they released little stories or episodes of the characters, I'd eat that shit up! That's rly why I'm playing! U think I'm playing to pull from an awful gacha or to do the same five things in game? (New content for late-game players, and I mean NEW CONTENT not just another game mode that requires hyper-specific espers for this one boss that only gives rewards that buff characters A LIL BIT, is scarce.)

NO. I like the characters! I like the stories (not the main story. It's 'okay' but the team is clearly artist heavy, I'll get to that in a second), I like their personalities, I wanna see them interact more! I want lore!

The only thing they would need to make an animated series happen is getting a good team of writers! That's literally ALL they're missing.

And while on the topic of artists, the game's artists should srsly feel for the fan base rn. We all know how many artists who want to make it their career often struggle to make ends meet. Well, NEWS FLASH, artists are the BACKBONE of every community. If ur content isn't accessible to that very important category, then all ur left with is whales and a tiny group of superfans that basically make their own content and try to forget the source material.

Dislyte either needs to start listening to fans when A LOT of them r saying there's things wrong with upcoming event content OR they better start investing in some writers and make a series.

Small rant about colonialism and Israel's genocidal campaign

The fact that people continue to support Israel when there are PICTURES of what the hell is happening in Gaza disgusts me.

A four-day ceasefire isn't enough, it needs to be a permanent ceasefire.

I don't even want to think about what will happen when the ceasefire ends...

The dead children, the mothers, the fathers, the sisters, the brothers, the friends...

And then the videos and photographs of the civilians..

All the heartbreaking images I seen, it's permanently in my mind.

All the attempts to try to get people to sympathize with Israel have been bullshit.

The only thing Israel has succeeded in is showing their ass to the world.

Last time I checked, we had rights to identity and freedom, so why is that being taken away from us?

Fellas, a rant:

So APPARENTLY my Language Arts EOC is today.

Normally, I'm fine with testing.

Except there wasn't enough warning about it.

All my school said was that the EOC would be this week, they didn't tell us which day, and because I had to miss school Thursday and Friday because of an ear infection, and because I couldn't study Saturday and Sunday because of how much pain I was in, I couldn't study for it.

I know some people will claim it's (Somehow) my fault for not knowing, but not even my parents knew the EOC was today.

I should probably also mention this isn't the first time my school did things like this, my school has a history of improper communication when it comes to parents with neurodivergent children.

I would say more, but my irritation is preventing me from saying more right now. :/
