Boba Monsters is Coming to Kickstarter!🧋👻
We are happy to announce that our spooky bubble tea game Boba Monsters will be coming to Kickstarter.
Boba Monsters is a bubble tea making dating sim. Craft spooky boba drinks, unlock bizarre toppings, and chat with an array of monster customers. Make their favorite recipes to win their hearts–or else you’re doomed to become the undead.
Why are we launching a Kickstarter?
Whether we should launch a Kickstarter or continue to self-fund the game is something our core team of two has been debating for awhile now. While self-funding a project is ideal, in our case it slows down development of the game overall, and does not easily allow for the possibility of adding more features to the game like a Kickstarter could provide, especially in terms of potential stretch goals.
TL;DR, we want to make the game the best it can be and have the funds to bring more people on the team, which would then help us bring the game to life sooner.
We are hoping to launch after having at least 300+ followers on our pre-launch page.
