╳ || Overhead, the sky shines with no lights, no stars, no moon. Perhaps an occasional star peaks through the thick clouds, illuminating the ground with its slight, dim light. In those fleeting moments, Haise can see his surroundings-- the ground a few meters below, the bare branch he sits upon, the bare branches of trees across and adjacent from him. The safest place, he finds, is up high, where the beasts can't reach and most people can't be bothered to climb. He waits the night out up here, seemingly relaxing (though all his senses save for vision are focused).
In once instance of brief light, he spots someone down below, confused (though he can't really make out her expression, he can see her erratic sorts of movement). He stops reclining with his back against the trunk and swings his legs over on side of the branch. "Do you need help?" he calls out.
