♡ || Momoi took a deep breath of fresh air and smiled. It had been a good idea to take a morning walk through the courtyard, especially after spending so much time indoors trying to investigate the place. The sunshine felt nice on her skin and she couldn’t help but stand in the sunlight with her eyes closed, simply taking in the nature around her. Lately, she’s been more mindful of her feelings, both emotional and physical, so that she would give her partner the least amount of trouble and it’s gotten better as she became more used to the place.
The only thing that was bothering her at the moment was the light buzzing sound that came from the electric fence surrounding the area, which slightly soiled her peaceful mood. Really, they couldn’t even give her a moment of pure serenity without even a small reminder that she was trapped here at the facility. Incredible. But while she was outside, she figured that she might as well explore the area as well. However, when she turned the corner, she hadn’t expected to find a pole pointing straight at her throat.
The sudden scare then left as quickly as it came, and she fell onto the ground in shock. Quickly trying to get her heart rate back to normal, she looked up at the stranger with teary eyes.
"W-Were you trying to kill me?? That was scary you know! Really, really scary!"
"It was never my intention to bring you any harm, I assure you." If she had made an earnest attempt of killing the girl, there was no doubt in her mind that the newcomer would not have had much of a chance. Arturia was determined never to underestimate an opponent, and the girl before her seemed barely threatening.
But this was not a fight, and they were (most likely) not in the midst of a war. Simply an introducation, nothing more. An introduction that the King of Knights had apparently flubbed, at that.
And indeed, Arturia did feel a tad guilty for frightening the girl to tears. She laid the pole down on the ground, hoping that the action would serve as a reminder that she was not a threat to her, either. Then, the knight offered a hand to help her up. "Again, my sincerest apologies. Perhaps I can do something for you in order to correct my mistake?" Unfortunately, there was little she could do in their current situation, but there was always a chance to offer something in return.
