VANITA WORKED at a shitty drive-in movie theatre called smile times theatre that brian went to once w/ some friends... he was very over-familarly rude joking you know the type of humor

he asked for her number half-seriously which she gave him...... he was surprised but never actually texted her. later she was on the set for marble hornets because she was really close with jess and interested in acting (she was in drama!) 

he didnt recognize her in the gothic getup but she recognized him and he was like ahhh. yeah. yeah. anyways they finally started texting but didnt really meet up outside of set until she got kicked out of the crew for getting into arguments with alex

he asked her out - she was entirely oblivious to his very obvious feelings. it took him forever though!
