Bramblekit’s apprenticeship is right around the corner, but as she’s gotten older she’s finally decided to ask her mother about her other parent.

It’s been a while since Bubblestream last thought of her old mate Boulder- Or, no, that’s a lie. She thinks about him often, but her focus has been more on raising her kit, and as time has gone on, her focus has shifted more towards helping all the other kits and clan cats and farther from the possibility of reuniting with her mate.

Will she try to find him again after Bramblekit becomes an apprentice? Well, she has heard that he’s been seen over in the Community... but she’s happy here in Briarclan. Maybe they’ll meet again, but it seems like their paths have gone different ways long ago.

Who knows? Maybe when Bramblekit is apprenticed, she’ll have a chance to meet him on the border or at a gathering sometime...
