I liked most that you talked about why what she did was not good but also how she fixed what she was messing up and listened to Steven!!! That was so good! That was what needs to get posted ^^ And it was great seeing Pearl get that chance to grow too! I hope Amethyst gets a similar ep where she fuxks up and Steven can call her out and her realize she messed up, more than what happened in the Garage ep with her morphing. I love all the moms and how they grow along with Steven :3
I know right! Tumblr has this thing where characters can’t be flawed without being demonized and that’s just not fair. Pearl listen to Steven and Connie once they told her what she was doing was wrong. She’s learning, and I’m sure we’ll get to see Amethyst get some of that same treatment herself. In The Kindergarten Amethyst’s big step was opening up and facing these truths about herself. Now she can start to recognize her missteps like Pearl is beginning to.
I’m seriously looking forward to seeing them all grow. It’s so important that kids see that adults can mess up sometimes an need to learn things too. Everything happening in SU is aimed at children and these lessons we’re seeing are the same ones that they’re getting and I really can’t put into words how important it is. Adults aren’t flawless, all knowing people. This show and the Crew are fantastic and I hope they never stop making such wonderful content.
