Bucharest, the capital of the Eastern European country of Romania, is known for its landmarks and rich history. Notable architectural structures include the Curtea Veche (a 15th century palace built during the reign of Vlad the Impaler), the Arch of Triumph (not to be confused with the landmark of a similar name in Paris, France), the Palace of the Parliament, and many, many others.
