Punxsutawney Phil says that there are 6 more weeks of winter because he saw his shadow. Punxsutawney Phil lives in Pennsylvania at Gobbler's Knob. He is the groundhog who I've listened to for most of my life. The groundhog named Staten Island Chuck who is supposed to be more accurate, saw his shadow, and therefore, he predicts an early spring. In Georgia, the groundhog named General Lee saw his shadow so he says that there's six more weeks of winter. In Ohio, Buckeye Chuck didn't see his shadow and says that we'll have an early spring. I guess that we'll find out who is right in the next month or two. I'm happy either way because I love the spring, but i take want some snow.

John Kasich: Math Is Stupid. The Moon Is Stupid. Votes Is Stupid.

What in the name of Buckeye Chuck (official groundhog of Ohio, #statefact) is John Kasich yipper-yappering about now? Oh, just the tyranny, of things like math and votes and democracy and the moon and other things that chap his cornhole, he doesn’t know and we don’t either. CNN’s Alisyn Camerota had a very simple question for Kasich: Donald Trump might not reach the 1,237 delegates he needs to get the nomination at the Republican convention, but he could, right? Numbers, John Kasich. How do they work?

Game of shadows • Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil popped out to "see" his shadow this morning, predicting six more weeks of winter. But Buckeye Chuck (of Marion, Ohio) and Wiarton Willie (of Wiarton, Ontario) are predicting an early spring. I'm beginning to think these groundhogs don't really know what they're talking about.
