i've never thought of the three of them together before this, but i immediately wanted to draw clint like that

Imagine Nat feeling guilty about her attraction to Bucky, since she's with Clint, until she realises that both men are attracted to each other too. Now her only problem is how to bring up the idea of polyamory to them...

she decides blunt is the way to do it, and approaches clint first.

"so," she says, resisting the urge to fidget. "i've noticed that you seem attracted to bucky."

clint stiffens, narrowing his eyes. "so do you?" he says. "are you trying to accuse me of cheating on you, because -?"

no, no," says nat. "sorry. um, no, you're right, i'm into him too, so, uh -"

"wait," says clint, staring hard at her. "are you thinking what i'm thinking?"

"i think so?" 

"that we proposition him for a threesome and possibly something more permanent?"

"that's exactly what i'm thinking," nat agrees, privately relieved that he's not only taking the suggestion calmly, but he seems to be on board. she tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear, resisting the urge to sigh out loud. 

"all right," says clint. "i'm into him, you're into him, what's the worst that could happen?" he grins at her cheekily.

natasha groans. "don't say that," she tells him, fighting back a smile.
