When I was a young teen, a originally french (or canadian?) animated show was airing called “Buddy Buddy” (”Les Jules” in french), about two stray dogs living on the attik of a house. All other characters seen where dogs and all of them had such distinct characters and forms. I simply had to draw them all in my style.

BI - From WATERFALL to ILLA ILLA. Now staring up at the COSMOS from the beachside.

I was thinking about cosmos this morning. Its been on my mind a lot these days. Ever since I heard about the album, I have been thinking about it. The concept of this album is really intriguing. He really is a creative person. From the concept video I could sense that the album is going to be about what makes up anyone's cosmos. What is your world ? What is and what has been most important to you? What is it that you love? What is your comfort zone? What fuels your cosmos? I think maybe BI will be sharing with us answers to some of these questions through the album.

I am sure each of the tracks will be meaningful and tell a story of himself at different times points in his cosmos. ALIVE seems to be a track that speaks of all the things that make someone feel the vitality of life. From a time period where everything in the world made you think - I feel so NUMB to everything that made you feel ALIVE again. From I dont want to die, but I dont want to live to I'M ALIVE. I can't wait to hear the whole song.

NINETEEN is a time period in the human cosmos that is filled with hopes and dreams. For BI it was probably a time when he had already taken up a lot of responsibility along with moving towards his dreams. He was working hard along with people who had similar hopes. Stressful yet unbroken. Facing failures yet the fire undying.

COSMOS is a track I am really looking forward to. From the spoilers I gather it might be about all the things that he loves about this world, himself, his ID. All the people who were there for him and were important to him.

NERD - I'm not sure what this track maybe about. I get reminded of the time when BI was shooting the MV for illa illa. The first thing he spoke about to the foreigner in the MV was about comic books. I think this has to do with the side of him that he thinks resonates with a nerdy character.

Thinking of Cosmos again this morning. The truth is I never stopped thinking about it since last night. Ever since I heard the rumour/news of the second album. Before even I could finish writing this, he dropped the bomb last night. Even if you are not intentionally thinking about it, he never lets you forget. I was speechless when i saw the message film 1. It was beyond what I can express with the limited vocabulary I have. He was on fire. Its the most stunning come back I have ever seen within a gap of 5 months. The music the , the visuals, the choreography, the direction everything was just incredible. I was blown away. Hence its no wonder its what I was thinking about when I went to sleep and the first I thought about when I woke up this morning.

LOVER , when I heard this name it reminded me of THEN. "Love is what people live for. I dint love all my life.. If we meet again I will be loyal". From that track to this. This is from a different time period, from THEN when love was not known to now. I really wonder what this song will be about. From a person who preferred the word loyal to ambiguous love, unchanged to eternal. I can't wait to hear it. What is this love going to be about.

FLAME. What makes your cosmos burn up ? What is the source of fire in your life? What is the one thing that makes you unbreakable ? I like to see this title in contrast to GRAY . The vibes of these two seem to contrast. Cloudy after rain to burning flame. The dull and somewhat gray atmosphere in contrast to bright glowing red. I'm really waiting to hear this one. Especially after the message film.

BUDDY BUDDY- Just the song title gives a cool relaxed vibe. I think this song maybe for IDs. It gives me the feeling that IDs sitting in the audience singing along in a clear peaceful setting. It could also be about other artists he collaborates with or wants to collaborate with. Yet again I cant wait to listen to this track.

Although I have formed certain initial feelings and impressions from the spoilers so far, I am waiting to hear the original real story. Waiting to hear, discover and rediscover the cosmos of a person I admire. I'm very curious and exicted to listen to this new chapter.

Counting the days, marking off days in the calendar. Thinking about your cosmos and mine.
