Summary: Before they begin with their prison break, Natasha and Yelena decide to stay somewhere for the night. However, tensions start to rise when neither wants to be the first to sleep. All the while old wounds start to reopen as both girls try to figure out what their relationship even is.

Ok so I basically decided that I couldn’t wait anymore to write these two again. And I’d been wanting to explore their relationship during the movie for a while now as many other fic writers before me have done 😬 so this is set in between the car scene and the scene where they go to meet Rick Mason. A lot of time passes between there so I wanted to fill in the gap. I hope I got their characters down right since they are different slightly from the end of the movie.
