Extreme #budgetballing tip. (Only the #frugal need read this post 🤣) Stop throwing money away. WARNING: this post will be a bit long Anyone who really knows me knows I count my pennies. I work too hard to throw money away. So just wanted to share this "extreme" practice I have for getting my #money'sworth out of some of the things I buy like #lotion. If you buy lotion with a pump to it you don't want to throw the bottle away when the pump stops dispensing lotion. There's at least $1-$2 worth of lotion left. Why do I say that, because most travel size lotions in target and Walmart cost $1 and there's usually enough lotion left over to fill one of those bottles once or twice. So I just took some picks of what I do to get another 1/2 bottle of lotion before throwing away the containers. It's tedious but hey it #savesmemoney. If you have money to throw away I can provide you with an address to send it. But in a nutshell you cut open the empty container(s) saved and either refill a travel bottle that you've saved or refill the current bottle you're using. Once you cut them open just scoop the lotion into a ziplock bag, cut a very small bottom corner and feed the lotion into the bottle like you're icing a cake. And Voilà, you have more lotion to use and maybe one less item to buy at the store the next time you go shopping. Yea I know, I'm #cheap, but it works for me so I thought I'd share. #travelmoney #savings #wastenot
