Couldn’t have Buffy waited to burry its gays after Spike was gone? Wasn’t it enough that after each of the last couple of episodes I was reminded of Spuffy shippers, just when they would finish, I get this?

Also, fuck Spike apologists, you made me feel excited when I learned that the next episode would feature an attempted rape, because at least that meant that the show admitted in no uncertain terms that Spike is the bad guy here, and all the romancy scenes were just bait, because I was still on the edge whether I would trust the show not to fuck it up and pull a “nice guy” with Spike.

Man, this show is hard to love.
