“Couldn’t think of anything more original?”
“At least I’m not some Billy Idol groupie.” Lydia smirked with a faint tilt of her head, arms crossing loosely over her chest.

Emma had rushed to call Angel - or actually herself, once she had woken up to tell him to meet her at his office. She didn't know how this happened but she at least knew the both of them wanted the same thing, their bodies back. The thought of even being a vampire made her sick, even more so when she knew she was hungry, she refused to drink any kind of blood. Since Angel was in her human body, she only hoped he wouldn't go too far or get too distracted with it.
The two were already having a discussion, in between their arguments, about what to do. She only wanted him to keep this a secret from Spike and his distance from him. She figured it would be best if they just acted themselves out for him.
Emma paused before she turned to face the sound that came from behind her to notice that Spike had found them. It wasn't much of a surprise, she assumed this might be either his first or very last place to come find her. She made her way to prevent him to be able to go near Angel while he was in her body with the knowledge of what he might do, "--Spike, what are you doing here?" She questioned with narrowed eyes as the brows knitted together.

There was a roll of her emerald hues as an exaggerated sigh escaped her lips, something she did more so around with Spike than Angel to her own surprise. However, when all three were together, she just wanted to leave, but if she did that, one or both might end up dead. She’d probably have more people after her if it ended up being just Angel that had been put to ashes.
“Think you could bloody sneak off on me, huh? Figured you’d be here at Captain Foreheads. If I didn’t know any better, maybe you two are in cahoots with each other.” Spike commented as he lifted himself upon the counter of the office for a place to sit.
Emma folded her arms across her chest with her eyes narrowed to further display her irritation that rose inside of her, “And if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re getting jealous.” She mentioned with the tilt of her head while she quietly hoped that she was wrong.
Emma was aware of how aggravating just the name of Angel made him, but previously when she involved herself with anyone else he didn’t care until rather recently. The only thing she wanted out of this was meaningless sex, which she knew they both wanted - and the fact that he had the chip implanted only helped make her go back to him. He was a soulless vampire that couldn’t bother to hurt a human being, unless he wanted the pain to zap across his mind like their first meeting.
A harsh scoff escaped his lips while there was a cue of his eyes that rolled in response, “Jealous?” He repeated as if something had been caught inside of his throat while an amused smirk formed, “I bet you wish I bloody was, pet.” He placed his hands upon the edge of the counter while he remained seated and leaned in despite how further apart they actually were.
“I bet you’re in denial, asshat.” Emma mused in response while the corner of her lips tugged as she took a few more steps closer until their mouths were only a few inches apart.
Emma didn’t bother to move in any closer, she only wanted to tease him as she allowed her lips to hover over his. The warmth of her breath caught his cold mouth in the process while her wicked grin remained in tact. Sometimes she did get caught up in moments like this with him, and his persistence never helped her ignore the nagging voice in the back of her mind to stop in places like this.
“You think so, huh?” Spike growled in a whisper as he placed his fingers against her soft cheek, he only moved them until he reached the back of her head to help pull her in to close the gap between them.
Spike placed his free hand around her waist to press her against his body, it was a rough tug toward him while the kiss had been soft for only a second. He had his ways to tease and control her the way she did with him at times. He locked his knees in place against her hips when he began to push forceful kisses upon her lips, it only grew stronger when he noticed she had returned them. Her hands were already loosely wrapped around his neck to let him take control as she always preferred. She drew closer to want for more to commence between them.
Emma paused once she thought she had heard a familiar noise from her right side, the first time was faint before she reluctantly parted her lips from his. She rested her hands upon his shoulders to help indicate that she wanted him to stop for the time being. There wasn’t the look of surprise that entered her system and even the expression upon her soft features to find out it had been Angel.
“Don’t give me that look. You take too long, what am I supposed to do? Read a stupid ass magazine?” Emma responded to his silence with the knowledge of his potential thought process.
“How about, you don’t make out - or have sex, in this office for starters.” Angel stated with a tone that declared there was no more room for discussion about said topic. He found out about their sexual activity that happened in his previous office before they moved into this hotel when he walked in on them finishing, another way he didn’t want to know about it. In fact, he’d be perfectly fine without that kind of knowledge.
“I’ve gotta better idea - why don’t you you piss off.” Spike spat at him while he lowered his legs against the counter but kept a tight grip upon her waist.
“I know it’s hard to grasp, Spike, but no one asked for your opinion.” Angel remarked with the fold of his arms over his chest as he sent a harsh glare.
Emma cleared her throat before she took a step away from Spike while she moved his hands off of her, “So, time to go I take it.” She added before she made her way toward Angel and paused to face Spike, “–Stay, and don’t cause trouble.”
“Or what? You’ll punish me? I sure hope so, love.” Spike grinned as he leaned back while he remained seated upon the counter.
“Shut up.” Emma responded in a lighthearted mannerism with a tight voice that found its way through to show she meant it, “Lets just go already.” She added to Angel as she gently brushed her hand against his shoulder, “–You got the weapon I need or what? We’ve got somethin’ to take care of, now lets go.”
Angel tensed his limbs even more so then before when he felt the gentle touch of her hand across him. He kept his cold gaze upon Spike before he redirected it toward Emma. He handed her the weapon he uncovered for them to help kill a monster that threatened others, he wasn’t entirely sure why Spike wasn’t joining them but he wasn’t going to complain about that. It was bad enough that he needed her around, but to be honest, he’d rather have her fighting creatures with him than make out with someone like Spike.
“Yeah, lets head out.” Angel replied in a scorn tone as he allowed her to leave first.
“You really wanna do this now?” Incredulous might be a word for what she’s feeling. Where does she even begin with it?
@buffyschampion
“I reckon that you are rather tone deaf, love. That wasn’t just an ‘Oh.’–that was a rather stressed 'Oh.’ A rather welcoming sight if you ask me. Sod it, I’m not arguing with you right now as much as you’d bloody well love to.”
The corner of her lips curved upward before there was another roll of her eyes. Whether or not he was here for something along those lines that needed her clothes off, she still placed her shirt over her once she had found it in her dufflebag, “--Fine. You’re not here to argue, you’re not here to fuck -- so? What’s with the visit? Somethin’ to do with Angel, should I guess?” She asked once she faced him with the tilt of her head.
@buffyschampion & @visionofhotliness YOU GUYS ARE BREAKING @nobigwin LMAO. it’s not angel’s fault he has the weird of the world on his forehead...
@buffyschampion replied to your post:
“A soul is a hot mess to bloody bear though.”
"Well, since you don’t have one, you’re fine - so put your shirt back on. Now I’m definitely regretting bringing you here with me.”
‘I’ve seen healthier looking corpses. You should head to bed.’
Buffy sighed, rubbing her eyes. “I know, but I have to patrol. And clean the kitchen. And make Dawn lunch for tomorrow. I don’t have time to sleep.”
