Pop tab beetle crochet that took my like 20 minutes to figure out using only chains and single crochets. I used a big tab from a spaghettios can so that's what my counts are based on, edit as necessary. I start at the left bottom leg and go around from there. Go forth and repost to Pinterest or whatever

Bumble Bee Craft

Hi kiddos! I’ve been meaning to post this for a while, it’s just taken some time to get everything typed up! I hope you like it!

What You’ll Need:

-Paper (Black, yellow, red/pink)

-Black pipe cleaners

-Black Marker

-Pencil

-Scissors

-Glue

Step 1

Draw a heart on one piece of paper and cut it out. It can be any size you want! I made mine small because I was going to make more than one of these and I didn’t want to use too much paper!

Step 2

Trace the heart onto the other colored papers and cut them out. You’ll want to have 2 black, 2 yellow, and 2 of whatever third color you chose!

Step 3

Stack the hearts on top of eachother to make stripes and glue them together! Make sure the heart on top is yellow!

Step 4

Glue the pink hearts onto the back with the points in the center. These are the bumblebee’s wings!

Step 5

Draw a face on the front of the bee! You can be as simple or creative as you want! Is your bee happy? Does it have long eyelashes? A nose? Have fun with it!

Step 6

Cut out small hearts and glue them to pieces of pipe cleaners. It doesn’t matter which color, I made these ones pink to match the wings, and I made another one with black hearts!

Step 7

Glue the pipe cleaners to the back of the bee with the hearts facing forward! This might take a little while to dry, so be careful with it! If you want it to be more secure, you can add a little bit of tape over them to keep them in place!

Step 8

Put your name and the date on the back of the bee! It’s important to take credit and be proud of your work!

Ta-da! When your bee is done, you can give it to someone as a gift, or show it off, or hang it on your wall! Maybe even make more than one so your bee can have friends!
