The only irritating part about my god-given insect necromancy, is that I can never have cool dead bugs to cast in resin.
Being in my hand ALWAYS gives them just enough life back to start moving around, and that makes me feel bad about what I was planning on doing to them.

This guy was laying face down in a crack in the pavement outside, in the pouring rain all of last night, and all of today. I waited SO PATIENTLY to ensure that he was truly dead, and he did not move a centimeter.
I pick him up, and carry him to my room, and THE SECOND I place him in my palm, one of his legs latches on. Then the others, and he crawls up on my finger.
I cannot stress this enough: HE IS HOLLOW
It is difficult to tell by photo alone, but he has no organs at all. You can see straight through him to his head.
The ants had already finished with him.
So, he is my friend now, until he fully passes. And once he does, I will cast him in resin. He has been formally dismissed.
