This account is NOT strictly an Elias Bouchard/Jonah Magnus RP account; you will never truly know where the line is drawn, I will never tell you, because I find endless amusement in your uncertainty and frustration. Feel free to ask, regardless!

All of the experiences, opinions, and stories found here are entirely true and from my own life. Some aspects of the tone and writing style are the only liberties I take for the sake of cohesion with my in-character content.

This blog is not "Minor DNI" only because of how important it is for young queer people to feel represented. I have, for some ungodly reason, become an inspiration to a not insignificant number of queer youths on this platform, and I do not wish to take anything they find hope and joy in away from them.

Something I do that is undeniably villainous:

... I mean, you have all seen my resting face. I have a wide array of expressions and none of them scream 'innocence'.

Something I do that is admittedly less villainous:

I compulsively thank flowers out loud when I cut them for my arrangements, then kiss them and thank them again before putting them to rest in the yard once they have fully wilted.

If I were to force myself to stop this practice, I know for a fact that I would feel crippling guilt about it.

I cannot STAND short-sleeve button up shirts on myself. They are absolutely vile, and I refuse to wear them.

I am happy to roll up my sleeves and bear the tiny bit of extra fabric in summer weather like an adult.

I've found that, as an adult, it goes against my very nature to play irresponsible or selfish characters in D&D.

It is incredibly difficult, and so far, I have been unsuccessful every time I've tried.

The last character who I attempted to roleplay as was a 'true neutral' Tiefling Rogue who was well past his prime and notoriety. He was supposed to be washed up and pathetic, having wasted the last few decades in denial about his loss of status and infamy.

... Then, within the first two sessions, I had already unintentionally fallen into the role of the party's responsible father figure, requesting that everyone let me handle contracts and deals as we entered the Fae Wild, and suggesting that we all tie a rope to our waists (kindergarten style) in order to make it through the cursed woods without being separated. 💔💔

I gave it a solid effort.

Feel free to delete when you're done reading) Anyway, from your recent posts you seem to have been going through a lot. And that sucks since it's your own brain against you, my condolences. But I thought you might appreciate an unbiased third person pov.

You're one of the coolest artists/ cosplayers I know and obviously a huge inspiration to queer (trans esp) ppl. You have never once let your chronic illness stop you from following your passion. Your thrift finds and overall taste (I saw that Pinterest board) inspire me to design my own (future) house. AND MIGHT I TALK ABOUT THAT WARDROBE OF YOURS. I unironically want to rob you (stop me, I dare you).

Also your bug stories add a much needed sense of whimsy to my life which is to say- YOUR BRAIN IS A HUGE LIAR AND YOU'RE A MUCH NEEDED PRESENCE IN THIS WORLD.

I'm curious, do any of you have a song that you like, but cannot actually listen to?

I like that song in theory, but in practice, I have made it all the way through it without spiraling exactly ONE time. And I was visibly gritting my teeth for the entirety.

(This came up because I just tried to listen to it and only managed to get to the half way point before I got physically sick)

Alright.

Starting today, I will be addressing and treating my paranoia and intrusive existential thoughts.

I have ambition, and skill, and charisma, I have the ability to pull myself out of this terrible place where nothing is mine and yet I find comfort in the detachment and indifference that I feel, because having nothing to lose is a safe and predictable way to exist.

I will still be afraid, but I cannot let it keep me from getting better and finally benefiting from my hard work after all of these difficult years of perseverance.

I can't let myself down, I didn't live through all of that just to avoid ever doing anything, because doing things is risky, and I am a coward.

I am struggling.

Everything is too much, the scent of food, bright lights, sounds, people talking to me...

All of it feels absolutely WRETCHED and I am afraid.

I am panicking about literally every minor inconvenience because something tiny will worm its way into my nervous system, and when I start to panic, I INSTANTLY become existential.

The processing cannot just be: That soy sauce has an overpowering scent, and that is currently upsetting to me.

It has to be: That soy sauce has an overpowering scent, I can feel it in my bloodstream, is that normal? Is something wrong with me? I think I might be a complete idiot. No, I AM a complete idiot. I'm an idiot and I know NOTHING except for the fact that I will DEFINITELY DIE, and when I DIE, it will be with exactly the amount of knowledge that I have right now in this terrible, stupid moment -- Which might as well be NONE AT ALL in the grand scheme of things -- And my inevitable (and likely painful) death will come the SECOND I am finally doing something worthwhile and feel hopeful about my existence and trajectory!

SO, THEREFORE,

I can never be loved, or excited, or content, because the MOMENT I AM, I WILL DIE!!!
