Guys :0 my partner called me out to help this caterpillar bc it found its way up our breezeway stair case, and it's raining a lot more than usual, and there's birds outside I can hear them and it's chilly

I know he was living out there in the cold and the rain with the hungry birds with hungry babies, but I couldn't put him out there willy nilly TwT I don't know who he is, if he's invase or not, what to feed him or what Kind of spot he'd like most/be safest, so any help would be appreciated! I'll be doing my own research to make him as comfortable as possible for the night, but he will be released tomorrow so no sweat if you don't see this until after

I would make a post about bug punk but I'm too tired to remember what I wanted to write about so here is this post reminding you that I still very much think about bug punk a lot even if I don't make posts about it every day like I did last week or whatever

bug punk gang where we protect women and other people at night from bad people, where the bug punk gang gets feared and respected but no one knows who we are, where people start to try to come after us for messing up shit all over the place, where we catch the attention of bigger scary people, where we just beat the shit out of them anyway

bug punk gang meets like once a week to eat breakfast together as one big group, and get into smaller groups throughout the week to do stuff and like is the gang a bunch of vigilante criminals or whatever???? (like im a fucking mantis i eat the heads of men that's kind of illegal u kno, can't destroy the patriarchy without breaking a few arms) idk but like you'd think that we'd get caught cuz we're a bunch of strangely dressed freaks, but like can you pick out a specific bug in a bunch? nah son, we camoflauge in crowds and no one can ever find us, other than that immediate moment of trying to kill the bug, you forget that its there if it doesn't bother you

we're like the spider in the corner of the room you see at night, you know it's there but you try to forget it is because bugs are kind of gross. we're kind of gross but hella beautiful and important to the ecosystem of the world
