i made a homemade bug spray with a bunch of diluted essential oils of all the scents bugs hate and tested it out yesterday. i only got two mosquito bites which is huge for me because usually they swarm around me so densely that they could carry me away if they wanted to.
i also want to mention that it was raining off and on where i live yesterday and i was outside tending to my garden around the time they're most active.
i'm very excited about this because commercial bug sprays never ever work for me and i'm going camping in a week. i finally have something that works!
