Updates
Introducing a new rooms system for the map generator which allows rooms of different size to be added into the rooms pool for the generator, this should give more freedom to future environment design choices.
A bit of eye candy to make the game more appealing, here’s a new bloom effect along with better lights, material management and reflection. These effects will be visible on weapons, bullets and various effects(like blood or explosions) throughout the game, a few examples:
Changes
Crosshair has been changes for a smoother, more eye-pleasing effect. It’s probably not definitive yet, so feedback is well appreciated.
Healthbars have been removed from enemies’ heads to achieve a cleaner look, this choice is not yet definitive, though if it will be that way, a new item providing this utility will be added as well.
HUD slightly changed moving usable bombs closer to usable active item for clarity. Names are still randomized.
Notifications have been changed to include more information with better formatting.
Stats UI changed to percentage instead of floating point values.
Items history formatting adapted to notifications’ format.
