I... have decided, FINALLY, to start posting here!!! Honestly, I have no idea where to start with. I GUESS I COULD GO WITH MY EXPERIMENT DAY ART??? FOR MY FIRST ACTUAL PROPER POST??? I have so much of it! I'll have to do so in batches! (Plus, I'm late at this point, but,, whatever!!) I suppose I could go by the month for now; I will only post the ones I'm most proud of 😅 I started my streak the 20th of January, which was Snafu day (1/20) So here he is - plus Carmen (1/23) and Bugby (1/28). I'll post more sometime soon!

What Inspired Me To Create Cupant

You see guys, I’ve always been interested in media where they depict bugs as the main characters. From movies, tv shows to even video games and books, I have always been interested in bugs and entomology. I even read the trope Mouse World from the TV Tropes website where they cast tiny creatures and humanoids in the story and have their own tiny society that are not noticed by humans.

But this all started after watching the Lilo and Stitch episode, Bugby. After watching that episode, I started to think about what Cuphead and co. would look like if they were turned into bugs. I started out with a reference sheet of their bug selves, and then I started to think about making what antics they would get themselves into. From exploring giant sized picnics, riding horseflies to even evading exterminators, I realized that I should make a Fanfiction series about Cuphead characters as bugs with their own buggy lives.

I first started making a physical draft of my pilot story, House Ants, in early 2023 and I have been drawing a lot of Cuphead characters as different species of arthropods. There were a few writer’s blocks along the way but that didn’t stop me from writing. Then, when I became interested in Bendy and the Ink Machine and after reading a few crossover fanfics with Cuphead, I decided to make some Bendy characters as different arthropods as well, starting with Bendy and the Butcher Gang.

The Yankee Driver

Description

Thomas Hart Benton spent summers on Martha's Vineyard from 1920 until 1975. The subject of The Yankee Driver is Billy Benson, a weathered Vineyard native who did odd jobs. Despite his craggy features and battered hat, Benson looks ahead with great dignity, firmly in control of his buggy. For Benton, island old-timers stood for traditional values and the American past. The waves and curves animating the composition-from the profile of Benson's sleeve to the wispy clouds-were characteristic of Benton's work.

By the time of this painting, Benton had come to believe that American artists should represent the life, stories, and people they knew, which in his case included the farmers of his native Missouri and the Yankees of Martha's Vineyard. In the 1930s and 1940s, Benton, Grant Wood, and John Steuart Curry would become leaders of the Regionalist group of painters who celebrated American folkways and rural life.

A bug-like experiment designed to transform entire civilizations into harmless insects. Those turned into bugs can understand all other insects and arachnids.

Only Jumba's technology can reverse the process. Bugby was later reprogrammed to instead turn small rocks into ladybugs to protect farmers' crops from aphids.

🐲 is a dawnian aligned transmasculine enby boy who uses, in no particular order, meow/meows, worm/worms, 🐱/🐱s, he/him, 🐲/🐲s, 🌲/🌲s, 🐌/🐌s, cele/celes, dream/dreams, di/dirt, fur/furs, splash/splish, mew/mews, sce/scene, and bamb/bambi pronouns, among many others! 🐲 is primarily genderfaun, but 🐲 also has about 50 other genders, including genderclown, scenecoric, webcoric, trendercoric, autigender, praegender, gendercute, espigender, drakefluid, pokemongender, systemfluid, and felisgender! 🐲's unsure of 🐲s exact orientation, but knows 🐲's gay and objectum in some way!
