Name: Judge Bumble

Species: Bumblebee

Description: Judge Bumble is the strict and wise judge of the Bugtown Courthouse. He has grown a love for justice, law and order in his days as a pollinator. Bumble is always determined to decide who’s guilty or not.

Likes: his job, honey pancakes, law and order

Dislikes: criminals, liars, corruption

Name: Captain Brineybeard

Species: Hermit Crab

Description: Captain Brineybeard is a tough and fearless crustacean with a heart of gold who’s madly in love with a certain crab-eating fish. He lives in a small village called Seaside County that’s built beneath a boardwalk from a far off city. Even though he’s tough as nails, Brineybeard is surprisingly kind to his friends and is grateful when they assist him in his endeavors.

Likes: his girlfriend, his friends, going on quests for his love

Dislikes: people offending his love, getting rejected, break ups

Note: I took inspiration for his design by the movie, Under The Boardwalk.

The Cup Trio Meets The Ant Trio

This is a what if scenario if the Cups would be accidentally shrunken down to ant size (all thanks to Cuphead who was trying to get rid of some certain ants) and that’s when they encounter the Ant Trio. With the Ant Trio’s help, they will traverse the now giant cottage while avoiding Elder Kettle because of how much he doesn’t like bugs in the house.

I made this drawing about Cupant admiring a hot dog while infiltrating a human picnic. No doubt that he will soon start eating the hot dog halfway through and sit there with a full belly.

Name: Sally Stageplay

Species: Damselfly

Description: Sally Stageplay is a kind damselfly who has a passion for acting and a larger-than-life personality. She is the owner of the Bugtown Theatre where she hosts the greatest shows the meadow has ever seen. Sometimes, Sally gets a little bit too overly dramatic when the situation doesn’t call for it. And when no bug gets in the part for any of her shows during auditions, Sally would gladly play the part herself.

Name: Ribby and Croaks

Species: frogs

Description: Ribby and Croaks are the resident frog brothers of Bugtown who owned the Fly Trap nightclub. They used to be boxing champions from their homeland pond where they grew up. But their mother had hated seeing her sons fighting each other, which is what led them to open their nightclub in the first place. As they tried to get bugs to see that they’re “respectable types”, Ribby and Croaks would always lose their temper when something goes wrong and often fight each other. But despite their wrathful nature, Ribby and Croaks still love each other like family as they still have a tender heart to their deceased mother, not so much with their father.

Likes: each other, their mother, boxing

Dislikes: their father, unwelcome guests, freeloaders

This is the title art for my new Cupant story, Camping Chaos.

Premise: Mugbug has been having nightmares about an anteater trying to gobble him up, so his brother took him camping out in the meadow to help him face his fears. Everything was going quite well... until they encounter the Moonshine Mob.

Let’s just say that in this story, Cupant tries to help him with his fears in a camping trip that’s gone wrong.

The Oak Tree of Bugtown

This is a concept art for the great, big oak tree that sits above Bugtown. You could all see the entrance of the little bug city in the anthill that sits on the bottom of the tree. There is also the beehive that is ruled by the queen bee herself, Rumor Honeybottoms. It took me a whole day to digitally draw this and I just wanted to share something that I got inspired by other artists who also make concept art for their stories. I also have been inspired by the fact that spring is my favorite season of the year. I hope you guys love it.

The Log

This is something that I have made for my Cupant au and for fun. This hollow log could either be repurposed as a base for a bug military or a nifty restaurant for all bugs or just a log that could be used to camp in. Either way, it is pretty amazing to draw. I would love to hear your thoughts on this mini project that I made on the comments below.

Name: Pester

Species: Housefly

Description: Pester is one of the many fly goons and the head of henchmen of the Moonshine Mob. He often goes to Bugtown in his spare time to pickpocket some of the local bugs, mostly in the farmers market where there’s no police ants around. Pester takes a lot of pleasure doing this, even though he’s already in a dangerous gang that has already gained money from bootlegging their moonshine.

Likes: pickpocketing, his fellow fly goons, beating up other bugs

Dislikes: flypaper, ant cops, pesticides

Name: Hilda Berg

Species: Mosquito

Description: Hilda Berg is a mischievous mosquito who has a love for the moon. Since she is a bit of a pessimistic pest, Hilda tends to be rude to other bugs, like how she teases the Ant Brothers to be careful about the bad surprises in the human’s backyard. She is sometimes a little bit vain whenever she sees her own reflection on the mirror. As she is nocturnal, Hilda sleeps most of the day, unless she wants to be awake, and goes into human houses to drink blood in their sleep, but ends up getting smacked most of the time.

Likes: astronomy, the moon, drinking blood, nectar and other liquids

Dislikes: pesticides, mosquito repellents, getting smacked on

Name: Jerry

Species: Centipede

Description: Jerry is one of Porkroach’s most decent customer whom the roach regularly sells black market goods to. No bug knows what his intentions are for he is a slippery and mysterious character. Jerry is also very wary of any bug around him as he likes to sneak around in places, even if this is unneeded.

Likes: Porkroach (basically the only bug that he could trust), pickpocketing, sneaking around

Dislikes: getting caught, the fuzz, getting hit on the head

Name: Porkroach

Species: Cockroach

Description: Porkroach is the local shopkeeper/secret black marketer who sells all sorts of products that came from human houses. He is very grumpy and short tempered when it comes to annoying customers who bug him, mostly Cupant and Mugbug. Despite his dislike towards them, Porkroach still does business with them and will try to tolerate their antics from time to time.

Likes: peace and quiet, paying customers, hearing horsefly races in the radio

Dislikes: Annoying customers, scammers, Cupant and Mugbug
