11. Favorite Frozen 2 Theory?

Probably the one about the symbols on the diamond-shaped crystals being tied to the four seasons.  (But not necessarily about there being three other magic-users.)

13. In your opinion, best Frozen fanfic you’ve written?

Oh gosh, that’s really hard! 😅  I’m still fond of “Moonlight” (the first one I posted), but I’ve written so many, it’s hard to pick just one, because I like each of them for different reasons.  (Like, for example, “A Warm Place” for my first attempt at a ship fic, “Silence of Midnight” for my first try at Em’s Shardsverse, etc.)

Writer Ask: Black, Blue and Purple

Black: Would you want to live in one of the fictional worlds you’ve created?

I haven’t created any, but you know I’d give anything to live in Arendelle.

Blue: What’s more important to you: characters or plot?

Characters.  Plot is hard. 😅

Purple: Which of your characters would become your sworn enemy? 

Again, very few OCs, but all friendly.  More or less.  The same one I mentioned in the previous ask, Ruth, I certainly wouldn’t want as my enemy, because she’s an assassin, and I’m sure she’d make my life miserable and brief. 😅

Ohh, Silver, Brown, and Pink!

Silver: Are you comfortable writing in public places?

Sure, I don’t have a problem with it.  In fact, I tend to prefer it, since I’m less likely to be bothered in public than at home.  (Sad, but true.)

Brown: Do you have a set writing space? Or do you write everywhere?

Pretty much everywhere.  I write whenever the muses and motivation show up.

Pink: Which of your characters would become your best friend?

Oh, gosh... I don’t have more than a couple of OCs, and the one that I think I would get along well with, I’ve barely written about.

What inspired you to write your DA verse fan fictions?

I’m not really sure, anon.  I mean, when the AU started 3 years ago, I followed along and commented.  And I remember wanting to write a fic of my own, but content that the others were doing such a good job without my help.  I think it was @stranger-who-writes-fiction who finally convinced me to write something, leading to this, and it was off to the races from there.

I dunno.  I guess I needed an entertaining distraction from the multi-chapter fic I started with, and this AU (and the other mulit-part fic I did around the same time) managed to completely derail work on that.  Now I’m co-admin of a blog dedicated to the DA AU.  Can’t imagine how that happened... 😂

1.  Describe your comfort zone—a typical you-fic.

Fluff.  Or, mild hurt or conflict that ends in fluff.  Otherwise, my fics are usually comedic and silly.  (With a few exceptions.)

2.  Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

Not really.  Since I last answered this, I have written a bit of ship fic (Kristanna), and have also started my own AU based on said ship (Heiress AU), so that’s something, I guess?

5.  Share one of your strengths.

Characterization, I guess.  It’s something I have lots of doubts about, especially when I don’t get a lot of feedback.

15.  If you could choose one of your fics to be filmed, which would you choose?

Well, assuming that it remains an animated medium*... gosh, I don’t know.  I would love to see “Moonlight” come alive in any form.

(* Unless Elizabeth Lail and Georgina Haig are in it.  I miss those two so.)

31.  Do you take liberties with canon or are you very strict about your fic being canon compliant?

For canonverse stories, I try to stick with what’s been established in canon.  (What canon I’ve seen, anyway.  I am ashamed to say that I have STILL not watched Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. 😓)

For AUs, I try to go with whatever rules have been established for that AU.  The exceptions are the one AU I’ve created, and the Domestic Assassin AU, where I often do like Indiana Jones and make things up as I go. 😂

3.  Where do you write best?Pretty much anywhere, as long as it’s quiet.  Sometimes even an afternoon at a local park with only the sound of children playing is peaceful enough.

8.  Which character is your favorite to write?  Why?Princess Anna, because I admire her energy, enthusiasm, and cheerfulness. 💚

17.  Is there a specific category or genre your writings generally fall into?  Which?Not really...?  I write fluffy things, mostly; hurt/comfort and outright comedy (see: Dorky Assassin) are a few of the exceptions.
