"The call is coming from inside the house...”
By @celandineitsaflowerdickward
“Hello?, who’s this?”
"The call is coming from inside the house...” Came the deep, husky voice from the phone.
It sent a shiver down her body, yet not chilling, instead ending in a pool of heat in her abdomen.
Her breathed hitched and the voice coming from the phone broke the silence once again.
“Well,.. technically right outside, come open the door for me, will you baby?”
She couldn’t help the smile that crept onto her face, as a knock on the door came immediately after. Hanging up the phone without another word, she opened the door to the masked man outside. As he pulled the mask of he sighed longingly and said
“Trick or treat, Betts?”
“Hmm... I should trick you for being late Jug, but I’m in need of a treat” she said as she pulled the collar of his shirt and kissed him deeply.

I Wanna Do Bad Things With You
(Halloween fic inspired by True Blood)
Pairing: Jughead Jones x Betty Cooper
Warnings: Harassment, Swearing, Teasing
A/N: This is a little drabble I was working on, nothing special but I hope you guys enjoy it! Please forgive any errors, I only get to write at night when my kids go to bed so I'm exhausted by then.
Betty wiped the hot angry tears from her eyes, pulling her jacket around her tighter when the cool October night wind brushed against the bare skin of her legs. She fought off a shiver and reached up to tug her golden locks free from the tight bun she had wrapped them in in hopes that they would shield her neck from the cold air.
“You cheating asshole!” she had screamed when she had walked into her best friend’s kitchen during his annual Halloween party to see her boyfriend of two years with a strange girl pinned beneath him against the refrigerator. She had thrown her nearly full red plastic cup of punch and had made contact with the back of his head before he was able to turn around, the bright green liquid drenching him and the other girl.
“Betty! Wait!” he had called as she bolted for the front door and nearly collided with a shirtless Reggie Mantle whom she hadn’t seen since high school.
“Yo, Coop, what’s up? What’s the rush? Party’s just getting started!” She had ignored him though, pushing past him and making her way to the front door before Archie had grabbed her wrist to stop her. She glared him down as he begged for forgiveness and a chance to explain but she wouldn’t have it. Instead she jerked her arm free, snarling at him to ‘leave her the fuck (a word she rarely ever used) alone’ and rushed outside into the chilly night air. She had scrambled for his car where she left her fairy wings and exchanged her high heels for her flats, her purse, and her favorite cream colored pea coat.
She stopped on the sidewalk and dug through her purse, pulling out her phone and scowling when she saw she had no service.
“Damn Verizon.” she scoffed and angrily shoved her phone back into her purse. She needed to get a hold of her sister, or even Kevin, to see if she could get a ride home to collect her things. She’d be damned if she stayed another night with him. A low whistle made her blood run cold and she looked up to find herself in the middle of Picken’s Park in the Southside of town. Had she really made the nearly forty-five minute walk from Kevin’s house to the Southside Riverdale?
“Little girl, little girl, what do we have here?” a deep, gravely voice asked and Betty felt her face pale and her heart stop as she looked around for the origin on the voice.
“Who’s there?” she asked as she whirled around at the sound of a twig snapping, “You better come out where I can see you or I’m calling the police right now!”
“Feisty one, isn’t she?” another voice asked and Betty swallowed hard, yanking out her keychain and fumbling for the small canister of mace hanging with her house key. Dark figures started moving out of the bushes and Betty felt as if her heart was going to give out as they began to surround her.
“Who are you?” she asked with a shaky voice as she felt her hands begin to tremble. They drew closer, the moonlight finally hitting their faces. There were five of them, four men and a woman, and they closed their circle around her.
“She looks good enough to eat.” the woman said as she twisted a pink strand of hair around her finger, her other hand propped on her hip as she ran her tongue along her bottom lip slowly.
“Easy, Toni.” tallest one out of the group said as he reached up to scratch his beard, Betty recognizing his voice as the first one she heard, “Sweet Pea, don’t you think she’d make a nice present to take back to the Wyrm?”
“I’m starting to agree with Toni.” the one addressed as Sweet Pea said and ran smiled slowly at her, “Care to come play with us, Blondie? I promise I don’t bite too hard.” Betty wrapped her arms around herself as she moved her eyes from one person to the next. How was she going to get out of this? They had her surrounded and they didn’t look like they were going to let her go anytime soon? Why the hell did she decide to go walking by herself without paying attention to where she was ending up?
“Get away from me.” she tried to warn sternly but her knew her voice was failing her, “Please, just let me go home.”
“Get away from her.” another voice said and she watched as they all turned to look in the same direction, Betty gasping as a young man stepped from the shadows and made his way towards them, “Well well well, what a sight for sore eyes. Betty Cooper, Northside Princess as I live and breathe.”
“Jughead?” She felt her heart slam into her chest as he stepped through the circle and stopped right in front of her. He brought a hand out and tilted her chin up to get a better look at her.
“Go back to the Wyrm. I’ll see you all there soon.” he demanded and without a word from the others they disappeared into the night, Betty’s eyes widening at the disbelief in their speed, “What brings you here, your majesty?” he mocked and she swatted his hand away as she took a step back to put space between them.
“I wound up here by accident. I was just getting ready to head home when your friends surrounded me.”
“Maybe you should pay attention to where you’re going next time, Princess. It’s a little too dangerous here for a girl like you. Run back home to your perfect prince and stay the hell out of the Southside.” Jughead warned as he narrowed his steely blue eyes as her eyebrows raised and she pressed her lips into a thin line.
“Excuse me, just who the hell do you think you are? What are you, King of the Southside?” she asked as she stomped her foot and crossed her arms.
“Yes.” he answered simply and she huffed before taking a step towards him. He instinctively took a step back, “Now go back to Archie and live your perfect life. Stay away, I won’t warn you again.” With that he turned to leave and she reached out, wrapping her fingers around his wrist. He whirled around and she gasped as she jerked her hand back.
He’s freezing…
“Betty, you’re a smart girl. Get. Out. Now.”
“For your information I dumped Archie’s sorry cheating ass. Two, it’s a free country, Jughead Jones, and I can come and go as I please. You may run a group of bullies, but you don’t run me!”
In a split second Betty found herself flat on her back staring up into Jughead’s eyes as he hovered over her, his hands on either side of her head and his knees on either side of her hips. Her eyes traveled over the pale skin of his face and to his lips that he kept firmly pressed together as he studied her.
“You don’t understand, Betty, I need you to leave. Please. For your own safety GO. HOME.” he pleaded and her eyes met his in confusion.
“Jughead, what’s wrong? Are you in trouble? Are we in trouble?” she asked and he closed his eyes as he hung his head, Betty fighting the urge to run her fingers just once through his thick raven locks.
She remembered Jughead from school. They had almost had all of the same classes since Kindergarten and for years he was Archie’s best friend. That was until he was uprooted from Riverdale High and transferred to Southside High where she heard rumors he had joined the notorious and dangerous motorcycle gang, The Southside Serpents.
“Betty, I’m a dangerous man, you have to keep your distance from me, please understand.” he begged softly as his eyes opened and made contact with hers. She reached up and placed a hand against his face, Jughead stilling but he never broke eye contact with her.
“You won’t hurt me, I know you won’t.” she whispered. The world around them seemed to move in a blur and before she knew it they were back on their feet and he held her wrists in his hands. She blinked and looked around, trying to figure out how she had gotten to her feet so quickly.
“Betty, I’m not the same person I used to be. Go home, stay away from me, okay? All I’ll ever do is hurt you.”
“I don’t believe that for a second. How dangerous could Forsythe Jones the III be?” she whispered and pulled her bottom lip between her teeth, Jughead’s eyes narrowing as he took a step towards her. Betty gasped as her back pressed against the hard bark of a tree, Jughead using one of his hands to pin her wrists above her head as he smiled slowly.
“Elizabeth Cooper you are playing a very dangerous game.” he whispered as he leaned in towards her, her breath catching as his lips brushed against hers.
You just broke up with Archie, idiot, calm yourself down.
“You’ve never been an idiot, very far from it in fact.” Jughead quipped and Betty’s eyebrows shot up. Had she said that out loud without realizing it?
“No, you didn’t.” he answered her and her body stilled as she felt her heart pounding against her chest.
“How did you...what’s going on?” she whispered as she tried to swallow back the panic that was rising in her chest, Jughead running his tongue along his teeth before his canines slid down into two sharp fangs. She froze, holding her breath as her emerald eyes moved from his mouth up to his dark blues.
“Like I said, I’m a dangerous man.”
“Like I said, you won’t hurt me.” she whispered and tilted her head up to better look at him, “I’m not afraid of you.”
“Are you sure?” he asked as he dipped his head down, his hands releasing hers and moving to hold her hips as he pressed his face into her neck, “You heart is racing. It sounds so beautiful.” His lips brushed her tender skin and Betty arched her back and pressed herself against him. She felt the tips of his fangs rest against her skin and she swallowed hard as she placed her hands on his biceps, feeling the hard muscle underneath his thin black button up shirt. He pressed her firmly against the tree and nudged his knee between her two shaking legs.
“What are you?” she whispered as she felt herself tilting her head to give him better access when his fangs moved and cool soft lips were in their place.
“Are you sure you really want to know?” he asked between kisses that he trailed up her neck, flicking his tongue out and running it along the shell of her ear before moving to her jawline, “It might make your blood run cold and it’s much more delicious when it’s warm.” She turned her head to look at him through hooded eyes and he smiled to flash his razor sharp fangs.
“Jughead.” she whispered softly, running her tongue along her bottom lip and he came forward to nip her lip before placing a kiss at the corner of her mouth.
“Go home, Betty. Stay away from me before I get you hurt.” With that he stepped back and Betty didn’t have a chance to protest before he disappeared in a blur. She was startled out of her trance at the sound of her phone ringing, Betty digging through her purse and scowling at Archie’s name. She hit ignore and dialed her sister’s number who picked up after the second ring, promising to come pick her up immediately after Betty told her about Archie. As she moved to sit at a bench she smiled and sat down, opening her web browser and typing in the name she had heard tossed around between the others; ‘Wyrm.’
The search results yielded a bar just five minutes down the road from her and she clicked on the link to read more about it.
Owner: Forsythe Jones III
“I’ll see you again soon, Juggie.” she whispered with a slow smile as she pocketed her phone and waited for her sister.
