Common Garter Snake spotted!!
First snake I’ve seen this year!! It’s finally warming up properly!!! She seems to have just ate so I didn’t want to get too close and stress her out.

Why so nervous ?
Found a Zebra Fountain Pen and have been having a great time drawing with it and scribbling! Been trying to get back into the habit of writing and drawing everyday.
Common Garter Snake #2! Snuck up behind me while I was poking Toe Pinchers on the riverbank.
Absolutely kicking my feet with excitement giggling and maybe hyperventilating a little. Went to the second hand shop to look for pants and found this instead. Works perfectly and came with the vinyl cover to keep it from getting too dusty.
I have been wanting a proper microscope for agessss and it was only $60 AND I just got my tax return this morning!!!
The game has been changed for me. New horizons have horozed. The sun smiles upon me.
I miss all my CDs and records I left in Florida when I moved. My boyfriend and I got a nice CD and cassette player and I just set it up so nice but all I’ve been able to listen to on it is Oingo Boingo, Annie Lennox, Sade, and REM. One album of each of theirs. I could just plug my phone in and play the albums I want off of Tidal but it’s not the same. I need to experience the CD. Feel the jewel case in my hands. Taste it a little. Otherwise life is pointless
Got therapy in about an hour but I’m hoping to get some of my chapter 1 notes together after for those who were interested in the Bugs 101 course!
I’ve been kinda slacking on the course since we finally had a couple warm sunny days where I am. Had to go dig in the dirt and poke around in some bug infested ponds now that the Creatures are awakening.
I can officially say I’ve made it through my first full winter 😌 glad it’s over, happy it happened.
For now here’s some raccoon(? Maybe possum idk I’m not a foot expert) feets that look like child handprints in the mud
