A grim realization

the big downside of the Quarry device from the Buildcraft mod is that it’s very power-hungry, which is a bit of a problem since the only engines I can really use right now are the “burns things like a furnace” engines. tried using basic redstone engines, no dice. :/

so I’m powering my quarry-mining operation with buckets of lava, and it occurred to me that the best place to get lava in Minecraft is the Nether, so now I’m trying to set up a lava-collection station in the Nether

and I was partway through this when it occurred to me that I was trying to solve my energy problems by exploiting Hell, and I’ve basically become that robot scientist guy from the new Doom

A sort of remastered version of techno's and philza's cabins on the dsmp! Some references were taken from this video but a large amount of the build is my own building and personal touches!
