August monthly setup 🪞🪄
Hey it’s august
august 2019 - daisies
Here's my August 2019 bullet journal spread (halfway through September but no one’s surprised). I was inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest (surprise) to do the daisy theme, and these colors really seemed like August to me. I tried to use less space in both the month’s calendar and the weekly spreads, which I really liked for summer when I don’t have to write down homework or hefty to-do lists. As much as I liked the habit tracker section, for a 31 day month I think I’ll try to have the boxes match the calendar and also keep the colors within the spread, so using the same colors multiple times.
I liked the minimalist look of the weekly spreads and how it was more reliant on division through colors instead of with pen (how I did my first spread back in July 2019), and I’ll probably use this layout again for the months I’m home during the winter.
August is almost here! I am SO excited…my grandfather turns 90 this week and I am heading down to my home town to see him and have a big family celebration! 😁💕 Plus the weekend after is my birthday (I’m getting SO old) 🥂
What are you looking forward to in August?🌿
Got to catch up my bullet journal this morning and update all my trackers. I added a brain dump page for the nerves and emotions Ive been feeling lately; I'm very on the fence about returning to school because it is 5 hours away from where I call home..it always makes me sad to leave.
I also bought these cute little stamps to try and work into my spreads somehow! I can't wait to get the chance to play with them!
