Urban Legends in Japan Part 7 1. ‘Bukimi-chan’ (creepy-chan) is said to be an obese girl who haunts elementary school toilets after drowning in a school pool. She has a violent nature, and will attack on sight. 2. In an unnamed school, a student was focusing on photos in a darkroom when they were locked in accidentally by another student. When the darkroom was opened the next morning, the student was found horribly mutilated with scratches along the ceiling and walls. In the autopsy report, it was revealed the student’s fingernails had been removed sometime before the mutilation occurred. 3. In Tokai, when several natural disasters happen at once, keep a close watch on animal behaviour. It is said if animals are acting unnaturally or are trying to flee, the big Tokai Earthquake is about to hit. 4. All of the current Japanese paranormal / psychic television shows must be fake by unwritten law. Before the law was established, a real psychic show was broadcast, causing viewers to become crazy and violent. 5. People can phone a boy named 'Satoru-kun' for predictions about the future. After hanging up, the caller will be pursued by Satoru-kun for twenty-four hours. If, at any stage, he calls your name or asks you to look at him and the caller sees his face, Satoru-kun will drag the caller to Hell.
